White Widow strain

Widow was the very first “named strain” I ever tried at 15yo and now at 43 it’s undeniably still my favorite for truly any occasion. I have smoked, vaped or dabbed just about everything available in the Illinois market and some from other states but nothing compares to White Widow. Flower is my favorite way to indulge and using a dry herb vaporizer really highlights the incredible flavor of WW. I buy the Upnorth Humboldt variety, or in a blend from Daze Off, as that’s all we have access to in IL. It’s cultivated by Aeriz and it’s outstanding! The buds are always sticky but fluffy and just covered in huge white trichomes. The green that peeks through has a bit of a blue hue to it and they do a great job of leaving some of the sugar leaves intact. The aroma has a top note of skunk and a hint of lemon and the base notes are more earthy and sweet with a mild gassy finish. The taste (when vaped) does actually mimic the aroma perfectly. It’s a bit skunky, sweet, earthy and has a subtle lemon finish on exhale. I have osteoarthritis in my shoulder and get moderate to severe migraines a few times a year and WW genuinely helps both. It increases my appetite, which I do not need, but is fun when you want to munch out. It’s just all around a phenomenal strain and hats off to the folks at Aeriz in Illinois for delivering 100% consistent fire White Widow every batch. The live resin carts and the flower and both out of this world!

I love her. I feel more focused and more motivated to get up and do things (which is saying a lot coming from an ADHD girly), and I like that I get an energy boost without feeling jittery or paranoid. It’s more of a mild summer sun at 10:00 AM on a Saturday. Relaxed, light, and effortless, but also bright, warm, and playful. After a little while it mellows out and feels soft and cozy without a fog or heaviness.

This particular strain and I have an extensive history all the way back in 1999-2000 when I first encountered her. Spicy and earthy and slightly tasting of soap. Such a clean buzz. Even more so when you vape it. Makes me want to draw cartoons and fix shit lol. I really enjoy this one.

I’d give 5 stars but took one away because if you’re sensitive to sativas/and or have anxiety, you may want to take it easy on this one. Husband and I split a J of this and it was a VERY thin line between being ok and on the verge of a panic attack. I’m a very anxious and flighty/stressed person anyways, but have been trying to find a good daytime strain to help me get shit done. I will say that it hits you all at once, it’s definitely not a creeper like others. 4 good hits had me cleaning my house, cooking dinner, doing dishes and still had energy after the high wore off. Taste: inhale is earthy, exhale is very soapy/cleaner tasting.

smoked a half of this with a high tolerance and can certainly recommend this strain. (Experienced on high tolerance, low effects high) great strain for beginners due to its low thc, immediately felt very uplifted and energetic, causing me to want to wander around and do things. definitely a strain that produces that dry mouth so expect munchies. saw colours in much higher quality as well. P.S.: I haven’t experienced a moderate or high dose on this strain. Overall from what i experienced a very solid 8.5 i’d say.

Absolutely love this strain! It was recommended to me for my chronic tmj pain, and it has helped me quite a lot. After 10 minutes of smoking it the pain has completely gone away. I was finally able to talk and laugh without pain. The first 2 hours my eyes were extremely dry, they kept getting teary and I just had to keep rubbing them. But the high was quite mellow, yes the dizziness and tingling, as well as the loudness of sounds around me was a bit intense. But after just laying down with snacks and a good series I had an amazing afternoon. And the tiredness after the high was not too bad, so I was still able to work out afterwards.

White widow had a psychedelic auditory effect on me. i took 2 rips, didn’t take long before i could hear every little detail of every song. definitely a nighttime strain.

smoking flower of white widow from Canadian lp: Versus. sativa high. not super heady, just a mellow sativa high from this cut. lot number: AFG00000712. woody, vanilla afternote. nothing crazy flavour wise. it's there, but it's a standard old school flavour, nothing candy or bright citrus with fuel. buds were dense when it appeared to be a top cola and fluffier when small lower growth bud. not by much. trichomes were cloudy and plentiful. smoke was unbearably harsh when down past the first half of the joint. will definitely be returning this ounce of flower to the store and buying something local and og instead.
