About this product
Whole Plant. Fresh Frozen. Solventless. Live Hash Rosin Cartridge. ------------- Papaya x Strawberry Guava (Reversed) ------------- Papaya BX #87 Hash Rosin has an enticing set of aromas. They lean toward the more traditional papaya fragrances. The timeless funky, rotting fruitiness of papaya (in a good way) and the sweetness of a soft, velvety mango hit the nostrils in combination and in waves. The funky, skunky fruitiness stands out in both aroma and flavor, making it a welcome addition to our Solventless line-up. Effects fall in line with our other phenotype, delivering a gentle body relaxation and a clear mind. Like many cannabis varieties from the prohibition-era, the history of Papaya is somewhat murky. Brought to the United States from Amsterdam in the early 2000s, Papaya made its presence known first in LA and then eventually in Colorado. It is commonly held that the most widespread phenotype in the US is Mango #33 x Afghani #1, which originated from Dutch breeder KC Brains. The result of this cross was a cultivar ripe with papaya, mango, melon, guava, and other sweet and funky fruit aromas and flavors. Papaya has since made its way into the hearts and lungs of cannabis cultivators and consumers far and wide. Papaya’s well-deserved reputation has catapulted it into the stock of the industry’s finest breeders, including Bloom Seed Co., the creator of the Papaya Bx. Bloom endeavored to create a cultivar that harnessed many of the Papaya female’s desirable traits while improving upon its shortcomings. To accomplish this, Bloom performed what is known as a backcross. They used the original Papaya female and pollinated it with the offspring of a Papaya cross, Strawberry Guava (Papaya x Strawberry Banana). In so doing, Bloom created Papaya Bx, an indica-dominant hybrid that will leave most feeling calm and relaxed.
