KYM’S SWEATER 1:1 THC:CBD Bred by @swnugget ACDC x Sweater (Ult Chem 91 x Alien Orange Cookies) ACDC is a phenotype of Cannatonic - a CBD plant often testing at 20:1 CBD:THC. Sweater is a strain bred by a close friend in the community Andrew (aka @swnugget) crossed the two strains in hopes of finding a deeply terp rich/great citrus flavored 1:1 alternative medicinal option. It worked! Grower Tips for Kym’s Sweater *We grow exclusively indoors* In our experience, the Kym’s Sweater plant is round and grows to a medium height. We most recently grew her in a 30 gallon cloth grow pot using Build a Soil 3.0 dirt. We top dressed her soil during veg phase and during flower phase. We did a lollipop/lower branch removal/clean out and heavy defol around day 21 of flower and another large fan leaf defol around day 42 of flower. We used bamboo stakes later in flower when she started to develop heavy buds securing the branches with zip ties. She harvested within the normal 65 days of flower and might have been pulled a little earlier at day 60 of flower. What’s in a strain name? Erika and Andrew met Kymron Decesare in 2015, while attending a lecture at Steep Hill Labs in Albuquerque. They soon talked him into becoming their mentor. Gratefully, he’s willing to continue mentoring, even after recently retiring as a practicing Pharmacognosist, specializing in Terpenoid-rich plant medicine, including cannabis. Mr. Decesare served as Chief Research Officer at Steep Hill and on the Executive board of Cannacea. He’s been an herbalist for over 50 years and herbal chemist/pharmacognosal for over 40 years. Regarding the “Sweater” portion of our new strain name, it’s a tip of the hat to a very inspirational friend who shares career industries with the Browns, glass and cannabis. Fun fact: By sheer coincidence, Carver Family Farm is located in the building where Steep Hill once resided!
