About this product
(Maui Wowie x Maui Wowie) - Not to be confused with the Cherry Bomb from Barney’s Seeds, the Cherry Bomb from Bomb Seeds, or the new generation Zkittlez cross, this old school sativa’s creation dates back to the 1970s in Hawaii. Maui Wowie is a first generation cross of the Hawaiian Landrace to an unknown North American indica by Pua Mana in the 1960s and is the strain most similar to this cultivar. The Brotherhood of Eternal love, a unique counter-culture organization, created a Maui Wowie IBL (in-bred line) and the resulting seeds were then hunted by Mr. Greengene who found a phenotype that displayed pink pistils that he named Cherry Bomb in 1979. The original seeds were repopulated and distributed by Swami Seeds with the permission of the now-deceased Mr. Greengene, keeping alive a classic cultivar. The profile of the strain is that of metallic cherries, not much unlike the profile of pure CBD, highlighted by sweet herbal earth. The high is a mostly cerebral, creative, uplifting effect without angst due to its slight contrasting soothing quality that you’d expect from a sativa dominant hybrid. It has been said to assist with patients seeking relief from pain, especially during the daytime, fatigue or lethargy, and can be helpful with mental ailments such as stress, anxiety, and depression.
