  Why should I buy Doobies over another brand of pre-rolls? In our experience, most pre-roll producers use very little bud in their products, and instead rely heavily on old “sugar leaf” and “trim” to get the job done. This results in low-potency, harsh products that might take a gram or more just to reach the high you’re looking for. When you’re smoking the right part of the plant, namely fresh buds, you can smoke a lot less and have a much more pleasant experience. What kinds of cones do you use? Elements brand cones. We find that the rice paper is ultra thin and clean burning. Made primarily from rice and sugar, they create no ash, instead caramelizing the natural sugar gum as it burns. This means that the flavor of the cannabis is virtually untainted by burning paper. Take your favorite brand of cone and burn it to ash, then compare that to the leftovers produced by an Elements brand cone. You’ll be amazed to see the difference! What goes into Doobies? The cannabis we receive typically comes to us as “A” or “B” buds, or as mixed buds, stems, and leaves. In the latter case, we sift and sort through the material by hand, separating out stems, leaves, and anything else we don’t want in our product. Afterwards, the cannabis is ground and sifted one last time to remove the majority of stems that were present in the buds after initial sorting. We believe that the highest quality pre-rolls are made from buds, not stems and leaves.
