About this product
Rick Simpson Oil, or RSO, is a type of cannabis oil. When producing RSO, the cannabinoids, terpenes and other compounds of the plant are separated from the plant matter. This means RSO is inherently ‘full-spectrum’, meaning it contains all the important compounds of the strain used to make the oil. As the name implies, this oil was popularized by Rick Simpson as a potential treatment for skin cancer when applied directly to cancerous spots. Outside of this specific usage, RSO can be eaten directly or used as an ingredient, although it often has a strong taste similar to cannabutter. Strain Type: Sativa Dominant Hybrid (70% sativa and 30% indica) Genetics: Tangie phenotype (Cali Orange x Appalachia) Flavor Profile: fresh oranges, sour How it feels: awake, uplifting, cerebral, stimulating, euphoric, energized, hungry Recommended for: appetite loss, chronic fatigue, pain, depression Blood Orange often contains pinene, limonene, myrcene, and linalool.
