Runtz X Its Fire Hand Selected, Full-sized Buds. One of the best things about this strain is how many layers there are to the nose and flavor. Every time I stick my nose in the jar something new pops out at me. When burned there is a dominant candy gas flavor with some definite note of cake and lemons. A little tart frosting with fresh mint and fuel. The dry hit expresses a lot of the flavors coming through in the nose—please see the next line. The unburned scent has notes of Lemon Pound Cake with tart icing, orange skittles, fresh-cut grapefruit gummies, dried apricot, pink lemonade, white nectarine, stone fruit, and a slight mintiness. There’s gas there but it’s heavily overshadowed by all the candy terps. When burned you smell a lot more of the candy, cake, and gas coming through. The buds are more rounded than elongated and have points coming off like a cross between SFV OG and Runtz. It has a greener dominant color with purple calyxes and is so frosty it emits a silvery sheen. When broken up and ground the colors really come out and it looks way more purple than when in full flower form. Lots of pinks and magentas are also present. A true rainbow pheno.
