About this product

The origin of cannabis moon rocks is a bit fuzzy, but rumors abound that the dispensary Starbudz760 first concocted them, with legendary West Coast rapper Kurupt popularizing the product and trademarking his own version called Kurupt Moonrock. Moon rocks are a THC megazord: They are cannabis buds dipped in hash oil, then rolled in kief. Though the potency of each batch of moon rocks varies and depends on how it’s made and who produces it, the general consensus is that they hover around 50% THC. For reference, most flower averages around 20% THC. Moon rocks are recommended for experiences cannabis consumers, as they pack a powerful punch. Whether it’s a bong or pipe, we recommend to use some glassware for moon rocks because it’s not your typical flower. They’re thick, dense and greasy, and they will have to be ripped apart piece by piece, much like you are ripping apart a Nerd Rope. The greasy texture of moon rocks can make it difficult to light and keep a cherry, which is why some patients choose to mix the moon rocks with some regular flower. This mixture can be smoked out of a bowl, a joint, or a blunt. As with edibles, start out with a little bit and gradually increase—take a small hit and space out your hits. Trust us, you’ll get to Mars soon enough ;)
