About this product
Introduced in 2003 by Ken Estes, Granddaddy Purple (or GDP) is a famous indica cross of Purple Urkle and Big Bud. This California staple inherits a complex grape and berry aroma from its Purple Urkle parent, while Big Bud passes on its oversized, compact bud structure. GDP flowers bloom in shades of deep purple, a contrasting backdrop for its snow-like dusting of white crystal resin. Resinates GDP was originally found by our Cultivation Director in 2010 in Colorado. This cultivar can exhibit large, but spaced out flowers that ripen fully in prime light, as the structure more closely pulls from the Purple lineage of smaller flower clusters. This helps each flower cluster develop more completely than its more "Big Bud" leaning siblings. Like the original GDP, Resinate’s cultivar typically tests low to moderate in THC content. If you're looking for a body high with a relaxed, carefree feel, this is it.
