About this product
This is a single extract of the species Mahonia nervosa. I've included only the bark (root bark and stem bark), which contain the highest concentration of berberine and other bitter medicinal compounds. Oregon Grape (the Oregon state flower) is high in berberine, a bitter compound that's present in several other well-known medicinal plants, like Coptis and Goldenseal. It is a valuable ally as a tonic for general gastrointestinal health, and in fighting bacterial infections, systemically and externally. It can be used in conjunction with conventional antibiotics with a synergistic effect. Contains: Wild Dwarf Oregon Grape (Mahonia nervosa syn. Berberis nervosa), wild Oregon spring water, 30% organic cane alcohol. Sustainably harvested from the Cascade Range of Western Oregon
