Wasn’t my first time here, I’ve purchased multiple 1/2 ounces and 7g as well and they continue to have two separate accounts for my rewards so I haven’t received anything for those purchases. Today I waited half an hour, just to be told what I Pre Ordered wasn’t in stock anymore. Then they couldn’t accommodate me with anything, like maybe 2 8ths of my choosing or anything they want for that matter. The staff would walk away mid conversation to help someone else as I waited just to be told they couldn’t do anything for me. LET ME REMIND YOU THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO THE PERSON BEFORE ME, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Given that today was the first day of legal bud in IL this place was packed. Other than the wait the selection was ample and the customer service was extremely delightful. The shop it self was minimal and clean, not sure what I was expecting but upon entering I felt like I walked into a doctor's office. ATMs were on site no debit or credit card use available. Prices seemed reasonable. The ADDED TAX is the gotcha moment. Would recommend visiting if in the area.

Extremely long lines for no reason - just understaffed. Line usually wraps around the block and can take hours. If there were one or two more personnel in store they wouldn't have this issue, but its just understaffed. You can order in advance but you still have to wait in the long line so I have no idea what the benefit of ordering in advance is. Quality of the product is ok. Nothing great. Most of it is high supply, which is average quality. If you're concerned about covid, dont come here. They pack a lot of people into one room with no air flow waiting in line. I don't understand how this place is allowed to be open when restaurants arent - its the exact same crowded environment. Overall, I'd say this place is just poorly managed. Could be much better run and more efficient operation. Unfortunately not much alternative yet in Chicago. When there's competition, this place will need to improve.

Worst in the city of Chicago! Security guards take there job to far ! Very rude and disrespectful! Prices are ridiculous! Hour wait!!! Never enough staff and again the security is horrible no customer service skills! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Don’t bother

Have gone in twice. First time everything was great. Second time was nearing close and I was there to grab one thing. The security guard out front said they weren’t taking walk-ins but I could order online. I put in an order, showed the confirmation and then was told they don’t use leafy for online ordering even though it shows here that they do. . My order stayed as pending until it closed and then was marked picked up. I went somewhere else instead.

The staff here is always friendly and accommodating. I've even had the staff redo my order because they could save me a few bucks and either get the same or more for the same price or less depending on applied discounts.

Jerusalem was my bud tender for my visit there, I always go to Sunnyside dispensaries but usually a different location, and I could not have had a better experience. I mean seriously she was optimistic, vibrant, positive, supporting, knowledgeable and I know she has a good taste in strains the way she was excited that I was getting LSD Sugar Wax. She deserves a raise or some free weed or something if not I’m coming in there and rolling one for her. Give Jerusalem a raise we need more people like her in this world!

I’m a medical user and have never had any issues with this location. Staff is friendly. Website is always updated with what’s in stock and they consistently have sales.

UPDATE: couldn’t add another review but wanted to mention Again how amazing your staff is Corey took the time to listen to my concerns. He empathized with the fact that I am terminally ill and helped me pick the right more cost effective choice for me! That is huge. Thank you, Corey!! Also I had to come back when I couldn’t figure out how to put the battery together. Nani came outside and fixed it for me in no time! She was kind and also very empathetic. Everyone in staff at Sunnyside is exceptional. From the guards to the managers and all in between. Thank you for making a rough time (the roughest) easier.

Over the last week my girlfriend and I have received excellent customer service from all of the staff but would specifically like to thank Stella for helping me find those live resin Pineapple Express gummies and Jerusalem for helping her select vape pens and watermelon treats. We love them all and definitely will return.

I got there and they were out of the strain I ordered. Tried to get online on my phone to see I was essentially forced to pick anything since I was at the register. Luckily, I know my strains. Also, was charged an ATM fee by bank when I used debit at the register. Would've been nice to know I was subject to ATM fees from bank for using debt at point of sale. Overall, not a pleasant experience whatsoever. Not sure if I'd visit any Sunnyside after that unpleasant experience.

Walking into this spacious, lovely space with knowledgeable, friendly people was day and night over the typical experience at the chain (initially primarily out in the southland), Windy City. Reasonable prices and more importantly, reasonable wait times.

I went on my lunch hour and waited in line for 20 minutes. When I got to the counter the ticket they printed off for me was for the wrong product (Sativa instead of Indica). I caught the error and had to tell the teller. After I paid I was walking out and noticed they gave me the wrong strain. I went back to a manager and pointed out the mistake. He said they were out of that product but- and these were his exact words- "It's still an indica." Let that sink in- a dispensary switched out a product and didn't tell me about it because it was the same brand (High Supply) and in their minds that was OK to do. I said it's been less than 2 hours and your policy says you hold orders for that long. He said they're under no obligation to hold it and then once again I'm quoting here, "What- do you think we have someone waiting in the back holding the product for you?" From there he apologized and stared at me waiting to see if I would take the product or not. I'm not being hyperbolic here, that's the exact transaction I just had.

Greatly expanded store made room and the right browsing environment for me to finally get the consultation and education I've requested but failed to receive at Sunnyside in the past. Manny had exceptional knowledge and was super friendly and helpful. He even helped me find things I hadn't known I needed.

Sunnyside is my main dispensary (medicine user). I have picked up here multiple times. Everything is so so. Not amazing but good enough. They have good prices compared to other dispensaries in that area. The Sunnyside’s customer staff has always been friendly. I should mention that I did have a problem with the security guard once. Im medicinal and under 21 so there was once when the guard pulled me aside to ask for the address on my ID. I did just that and gave him my address on the card. I understand protocol. However, protocol doesn’t mean to joke around with me. The guard responded “thats not the address on the ID” then after some dialogue said “oh just kidding, your right.” Thats unprofessional service.
