About this product
Granddaddy Purple is an indica marijuana strain that goes by many different names, including "Grand Daddy Purp," "Granddaddy Purps," "GDP," and "Grandaddy Purple Kush." Popularized in 2003 by Ken Estes, Granddaddy Purple (or GDP) is a famous indica cross of Mendo Purps, Skunk, and Afghanistan. Other people claim it is Big Bud x Purple Urkle. Either way, this California staple inherits a complex grape and berry aroma from its Purps and Ghani heritage. They say you are what you eat. Well we think the same is true for whatever you put in your body, including the cannabis you consume. We’ve always placed high importance on maintaining a healthy mind, spirit, and body, which is why at Hidden Hemlock we produce cannabis grown in 100% organic soil - using organic inputs and pest management practices. The thing is, most cannabis operations don’t follow organic growing practices, and that’s one of the many aspects that sets our product apart. Due to the high cost of organic media and nutrients (and increased growing difficulty), organic cultivation is rarely practiced in commercial operations. As a small scale microbusiness, we provide extra attention and care to each plant resulting in a higher quality product that doesn’t go unnoticed. We produce the cleanest, most natural and chemical-free flower by growing in organic soil and following organic pest management practices throughout the entire process. Because we’re passionate about quality cannabis, we personally hand select strains we feel worthy of sharing with others and that we enjoy smoking ourselves. We offer heirloom strains that have been resurrected from the archives as well as new, offbeat crosses. We are proud to grow organically-produced flower that stands above your typical mass market cannabis.
