I tried this in live resin form from a festival in Massachusetts. I was looking for a balanced hybrid or something with “indica-like” effects such as help with pain & nausea relief, and sleep. Going by my nose I immediately noticed this out of the lineup for its “petrol” aroma. This would be a strain where that expression “smells like gas” or whatever kids say nowadays definitely rings true! I thought it was jet fuel, but this is another type of fuel haha. Great blend of OGK phenos, I definitely am a fan of face off og genetics/effects and this stuff had such a strong crisp diesel taste. If you’re in need of nausea relief, this will help fix that right up. Healthy boost in appetite and nice Stoney feeling after a few big rips (again this is live resin) and some decent pain relief and not sedative enough to knock you out during the day; but definitely helps put icing on the cake at night if you need it.

I picked this up from Harmony Dispensary in NJ. I’ve always wanted to try a chocolate strain since “chocolate haze” from my younger years that was Schwag sprayed with some chocolate 😂 Smell/Look/Taste: Upon opening the bag you immediately get a whiff of some earthy cocoa-coconut Aroma. The buds were surprisingly trichomey and does not at all look like a 14.6% THCa testing strain. There are plenty of orange hairs crawling on these bugs with hints of a light lavender purple accent scattered throughout the buds, primarily where it connects to a stem/vein/bottom of the buds. I’m still recovering from chronic vape tongue so I could only faintly detect a taste on the exhale. It’s got a faint pancake/waffle taste, perhaps reminiscent of a chocolate chip pancake with ALOT less sugar. Effects: haze genetics typically make me feel somewhat disoriented or “hazy” and forgetful. This particular sativa didn’t affect me that way, but instead of energizing me similar to a cup of coffee this one is mellow while still being very cerebral. Great for stress!! I was trying it yesterday morning and day and wound up napping because it made me so relaxed on a rainy day. I had issues sleeping last night due to stress, despite smoking stuff that should’ve had me out before the blunt. Based on my experience early in the day I decided to risk packing a bowl of this after my bedtime blunt; and it took off all that mental anxiety and let the indica do its magic! I was able to get relaxed and fall asleep very shortly after. Definitely a good anytime mental relaxation strain with a unique scent.

I was in the area the other day so I gave them a call to confirm their policy for 1st timers to their location. No appointment needed and I didn’t wait more than 5 minutes once I got there. Location was unexpected As it’s in an industrial warehouse area almost, but very easy to access and lots of parking, and the street isn’t busy so it’s easy to pull in & out. The actual waiting room and dispensary is a lot smaller than I imagined it would be. Luckily it wasn’t too busy when i went. Everyone was very nice from the phone, to front desk, to the dispensary. I believe my budtender was Nicole. I’m completely unfamiliar with their selection so I had a lot of questions and she was able to answer ALL of them satisfactorily and gave me a superb recommendation based on what I told her. It was very cool to see buds on display and compare some general visual cues along with the terpene profile easily. I get their long distance discount and picked up another strain that was on sale that was on my list to try. I walked out with 1/4 for $97 of excellent cannabis. Oh one big thing to note; this has a more hip/rec dispensary, somewhat informal vibe going on where I personally felt very comfortable but I can see some elderly/ new to cannabis might prefer and more formal setting. I will definitely be coming back but will have to plan ahead for the distance; time, gas, tolls, etc.

Picked this up from Garden State Dispensary in New Jersey yesterday. First time drop; and it is 👌🏼! It smells of orange cleaner or like fresh orange cream! Testing just under 17% THCa, this packs a punch! A great example of how thc level isn’t everything. The smell doesn’t translate completely to the smell but it’s still there. Effects: this is where this strain shines! I had a relatively small migraine building all morning and some body aches. As I continued to smoke my testing dose I front a slight cerebral warning effect. And almost as if my body was being hugged all over. Almost a down-the-middle hybrid the euphoria builds up over the first half hour and after an hour you are pleasantly elevated. Creativity is rolling and I feel as if I want to get up and do things and be active. I wound up FINALLY cleaning my desk and then relaxed to smoke smoke more and felt increased head and body relief. APPETITE! This strain is seemingly good for digestive disorders; I have ulcerative colitis and morning appetite doesn’t exist for me naturally. This didn’t give munchies but a healthy hunger and desire to actually eat some food! Great over all strain. Likely good for anytime but definitely not decidedly indica or sativa leaning, in terms of effects, for me. It will relieve stress with serious uplifting euphoria to help you get through the day with a smile or take any worries off your mind to allow to relax for sleep. Just my experience

I picked this up from Garden State Dispensary in NJ @ 36% THC. 4 stars only because it doesn’t dethrone my personal favorite strains. I usually start a new strain with either .5 g or 1 g as my standard to test it out. This is the most potent strain I’ve tried thus far so I stayed with .25 g in a bowl to get the taste in. So let’s start with opening the jar, at first I picked up some top notes of kush but a few sniffs later and your smelling some dirty diapers or something. I can kind of smell a sautéed mushroom undertone, maybe some of that onion. Those come through a little bit more in taste. So low doses of this (.25g for me is just under my medical day time dose) was a really classic cookies experience. Very uplifted, aches & pains start fading but I got lost in my phone conversations and on social media just lost in the moment. I felt a little spacey like a real nice mellow down the middle high. Not energizing, but not sedating. Just a really good feeling like you’re in a good dream. I then tried .5 g over the next hour and actually started getting more of those good feels, but now I could feel my body being to pulsate, especially where I was aching like my feet and legs and back. That pulsing turned into a massage type of feeling and you forget you’re hurting. Increased my appetite a bit but not like munchies, just felt like I needed to eat a whole calzone in one sitting and it was 👌🏼. I would say the leafly description is pretty accurate. Didn’t knock me out right away but after 1-2 hours I must’ve passed out so hard I didn’t realize I was heading that way until I woke up today. But if I was out and about I feel like I would’ve had a great time, so kind of a multifunctional hybrid effect. NEW PATIENTS BEWARE! This strain is nearly double some other strains, I did experience elevated heart rate from the abundance of thc. Adjust your dose accordingly when new to cannabis or you may trigger some anxiety. Definitely for experienced users or severe symptom relief

I chose GSD after reading some really unpleasant experiences as far as how patients were treated. Every ATC has a few horrid reviews that you can tell aren’t valid and just angry rants, GSD seemed to have the least of those. It’s also conveniently located near a bunch of highways. I usually get their “shake” because it’s about $20 cheaper per 1/8th than flower and it’s actually just uglier smaller buds pre-ground with the kief mixed back in. You can visibly see that when it’s still stuck in a puck when they flip it upside down like Dairy Queen. Though the “shake” is ground quite fine so it has been problematic in rolling papers but great for your pipes or dry herb vapes. They currently only offer smokable only but I hear the extracts lab is expected to open before the end of the year! This place is very clean and has a nice medically professional ambiance with a semi luxurious lobby area with couches and chairs, educational binders, & menus which are updated throughout the day. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful, you definitely feel welcomed right away. The only con I would have to say about this place is that it must be so good compared to the others because I’m always meeting people from other ATCs there and people purchase meds faster than they can grow them so the menu can be finicky. Luckily they have a super user friendly website with the menu updated throughout the day, everyday! Oh and wicked prices on glass pieces!!! Definitely my main spot
