This strain was interesting to say the least. The bud was some of the prettiest Ive seen, and I found myself just examining each nug for a good ten minutes. After a bunt, I was hit with a VERY powerful high that wasted no time taking full effect. One minute I was sitting at my computer desk lighting up the blunt, and next minute I was seeing stars. Literal stars. This was both great and terribly jarring at the same time, and a friend of mine claims this aspect of the strain caused her to have a massive panic attack, so this should come with a warning. I never really experience panic attacks, so I was fine once I gained my bearings. I dont know for sure if its the stain or the batch, but it was so incredibly potent it was almost a bad thing. After this experince and the story from my friend, I would not reccomend this strain to anyone who does not enjoy those incredibly intense highs.

As close to perfect as bud gets for me personally. Fairly potent but not knock-you-on-your-ass potent, which i prefer. The high was almost entirely in the body in my case, and that was perfectly fine with me. I smoked this strain every night before bed for a week or so, and the sleep was DEEP. My appetite was moderate, and my mood was so chill i had to put on a sweater. This strain is legendary, and for a good reason. If this were the last bud I smoked before death, I would be perfectly content with that. I cant think of a strain that can cover for a good batch of Northern Lights.

Allow me to preface this review by saying I STRONGLY prefer indica strains opposed to sativa. That being said, Sour Diesel has earned a spot in my top ten strains. While the typical effects one would expect from such a solid sativa are cetainly present, I was supprised to find myself incredibly sleepy, and my stomach turned into some kind of bottomless pit. The cerebral effects were of course dominant, and every moment of feeling them was pure joy. This particular batch was incredibly frosty, and after a bowl in my bubbler, I could hardly open my sliding door. Potent, fast acting, and incredibly enjoyable, this strain certainly deserves all of the praise it receives.

This strain did what I expected it to, and then took it an extra mile. For me, the high from BBK started as a typical high-tier indica body feel. As the first four or five tokes kicked in, I braced myself for some serious couch-lockage; it never happened. That indica melty chillness was extremely prevelant, without the usual drowsiness and general sluggishness. As I slipped into a deeper high, no couch lock showed up. Instead I found myself focussing intently on my surroundings and zoning in rather than out. This bud presented me with a deeply chilling, calming, and focussed high. The high was as enjoyable as a high can be, and lasted for about 3.5 hours until the burnout threw me into a wonderful sleep. This is top notch bud as far as im concerned,
