The Mint Cannabis - Scottsdale

There's no reason to look any further, this is the best place around! Everyone at Monarch has been SO kind and helpful on each and every visit. Their meds are great and they really do seem to want to help people. I have waited a few months to write a review because I wanted to get a real feel for the place and people first and honestly, it only seems to get better and better. Keep up the good work!

I had been going to GTA for a while because the meds are fantastic. Unfortunately, I had to stop frequenting because I kept getting sick. I am on medication to suppress my immune system and GTA lets anyone and everyone touch the meds with their unclean hands and then back in the jar it goes. Also at least one person filling the meds uses their fingers to get it off the metal tongs. If you stop allowing people to touch the meds I will come back (or do the 1 bud in a jar setup like other places). If you have cancer, an autoimmune disease or other things that require you to keep your immune system low (or it is by itself), I wouldn't recommend GTA unless they fix this issue. It really is a shame because they have amazing meds!

I've been here a few times (both as AZCU North and AMI). Meds have always been good, donations reasonable, nice atmosphere and the people seem eager to really help with your unique needs.
The only negatives I have encountered: When I went to use my card the first time I was told there would be a small fee. This was not a problem and I was glad they told me. When I checked my bank account later though, I found not only was there a fee through them but my bank also charged me an additional "ATM fee". I was not made aware that this could/would happen. It's not like I used an ATM machine. The girl rang my card up behind the counter. So basically I paid an additional $5. I really would have appreciated being told this could happen, it's just the right thing to do.
Also, on my first encounter with edibles, it was not a great experience. I was asking for recommendations on what to get and I was told none of their edibles taste like cannabis. Well, when I opened the bag that held the cookie the smell that hit me in the face, I knew it wasn't a good sign but I hoped it would be ok. The cookie was so bad it actually made me throw up as soon as I finished getting it down! You could see little green flakes in it so I wonder if there may have been actual plant matter in it and that's why I got sick. I have digestive problems and I am also very sensitive to smells. I didn't find the gummies to be much better, in fact I threw one of them away. BUT... the sugar keeps me coming back!!! I find it to be perfect for me!!! The only thing is I wish it would be a bit stronger so I could use less of it in my coffee in the morning. I generally only use a tsp of regular sugar so having to use a tbsp to get a weak dose makes my coffee wayyy too sweet.. but it truly is a god send! Also I decided I would give their edibles another shot and the chocolate peanut butter kush bomb was the bomb! I did not have any problems, digestive or otherwise, with that! It was tasty and helped to relieve my pain! So really, I figure I'm just super sensitive.
CHECK AMI OUT! I have tried a few other places out for various reasons but AMI is my go-to place!
