Initially, what's not to love? Cool arcade in the waiting room, nice design of the building, great workers (excluding management), I was a regular. I've regularly been spending $150-200 a week here and never had problems until now. Two days ago I visited this location to take advantage of one of their $60 half ounce deals. Upon visiting the location, I get called over to register #5, I tell him I'd like the $60 half ounce and he goes to grab it. He spent a good three minutes sorting through all the pre-packaged half's attempted to find one that looked relatively decent. He literally said "wanted to make sure I found you a winner" and very nervously put the product in my bag. Later on I come home to find out that every single solitary nug in the package is brown, smells like dirt, and is reminiscent of how schwag reggie weed used to be. It was such a harsh experience I found myself throwing up halfway through a 1 1/4'' joint. I use cannabis for nausea amongst other reasons, so you can imagine my disappointment when it did the opposite. I have seen numerous reviews posted both on Leafly and Google about others having this experience with their flower and specifically this grow. I could've let it go had the phone call I had with their "manager" gone well.
Also here's a quick sidenote on how well they operate phone lines:
10:29AM Call - no answer
10:31AM Call - put on hold then hung up
10:34AM Call - Get told manager is in meetings and I'll get a call back
(4 hours pass)
3:10PM Call - put on hold then hung up
3:12PM Call - put on hold then hung up
3:14 PM Call - finally get through to manager (only due to receptionist being nice)
When initially explaining my situation, I was cut off to be told that everyone's body reacts to cannabis differently, and that it was my body's fault I reacted the way I did. When I continued to tell her about reviews I've seen of others complaining she went on to disregard what I was saying to further cement the idea that I'm the only one with this problem, that it was MY CHOICE the buds I received, and if I don't like it there's nothing that can be done aside from $10 in store credit. I proceeded to say how I felt it wasn't a good enough solution, stating that I would be out $50 then. Then the manager had the nerve to say "well if we do this for you just cause YOU don't like it then we're out $50" when that's clearly my money to begin with. I spend well over $50 per week by the way. This product is unable to be consumed by anyone. I completely understand the concept of "final sale" but when the product is unable to be used or is defective, business that want to keep customers coming help them out. I wasn't asking for a full refund, I was asking to be treated with respect, not like someone who is stupid. After this, I felt cheated out of not only my meds but my money. I haven't got anything in my allotment after this until further notice and I just have this unsmokeable bag of dirt. I absolutely wish all the workers aside from management the best as they have always been kind and helpful, but as for flower, Nirvana Center is not worth the gamble.
