Nice people; but they’re clearly selling poorly cured bud that they grew in their basement. It looks nice, but it all tastes like chlorophyll and breaks up terribly. My last visit I got an 8th of f cut and motorbreathe and they both are seriously underwhelming in terps.

I should say that while I really enjoyed your bud, I can’t shop here until you get more of a selection. This bud is great but again I’ve smoked everything you have. I don’t want to keep smoking the same flower.

I like this place a lot, some heady high quality top shelf, and a decent variety of mid/bottom shelf options. Super nice staff and a great location. They need to be stricter about their reward policy though. I fully expected to walk into a free bag after sending numerous patients there and providing them with business of my own. Some how my points never inflated and no one seemed to know what was going on. Other wise this is a fine establishment.

Sorry for the multiple reviews, you can ignore the first one. This place is a lot cooler looking than it actually is. The bud was dry as hell, I knew it would be because it's pre packaged. Everything I got was dry. Bud tender said everything was packaged that day, I strongly doubt it. A lot of gimmicks, and a lot of dry weed. No moisture packets is an elementary mistake. This place is fuego with a new look basically. Most of the same people work there. Nice people for sure, and a great building, but bud is super dry. Also, it's no secret that the owner is involved in the city behind the scenes. I chuckled when the receptionist told Me that they were "legal" and there for went unraided like the others. Yeah, it's because you're protected by the city officials. It's also no wonder why the proposed zoning ordinances don't hinder the reef in anyway. This guy is a made man. Still lol @ security guard.

I, like other commenters here, avoid new dispensaries like the plague typically. There's so many of them, and it's an awkward feeling walking into a room full of garbage in a 1 on 1 setting. I always feel compelled to spend something. I decided to visit strains on Sunday night, feeling adventurous and I assumed it was safe to visit based on other reviewers who I trust. I was greeted by a familiar face at the door, it was Meghan who has worked at other dispensaries around the city, one of which I would rank near the bottom of my personal list (you can see my review on here). Prepared to walk out, I was ensured that there was no affiliation and proceeded into the room. No wait, and I proceeded into the room to be greeted by another familiar face. Slightly weary I take a look into the jars in their nicely designed room and am really happy with what I see. Top shelf was $15, and they had options in the 10 and below. Tbh I enjoyed what I got from the $10 more than $15 (Gorilla Cookie was nice, but I think was cut down a little late, inconsistent pieces, either way I paid happy hour prices for it and have zero complaints). I also picked up an 8th of island sweet skunk which looked like strawberry diesel, but everyone grows differently and achieves different results. Regardless it was bomb. Free gram of sour strawberry kush which I probably should have got more of. It was a welcome change from the two dispensaries I had frequented almost exclusively for the last 5 months. Bright lights, happy people, and uplifting positive sativa and hybrids. *note for the girls there, my review of your last place did not reflect you. I made a comment about how someone was too high to be working, rest assured it wasn't either of you. Good luck with the new place, you'll be seeing me again soon.

I left them a review before for a free gram, I can't help but think that most of these people are doing the same. I fear most people don't realize that outside of 8 mile there are some incredible dispensaries that have $15 top shelf and even $10 that blows UC's "OG" collection out of the water. It's kind of embarrassing that people are willing to pay $100+ for a quarter of something that I wouldn't pay $60 for knowing what I know now. It was my first dispensary, they took care of me with my paperwork and I appreciate that. Good dudes that work inside, but the bud is just murky. Dry, moldy smelling, not cured properly, etc. Not all of it, but I'm assuming what they're growing in house is a majority of what you see. Heads up, fairly certain they also own the healing tree, which was slightly better IMO due to the donation rate, but I'm certainly not dying to go back. Z is good people, and some of the girls are cool although one is way to high to be working. The lobby is just bad news, I don't understand how you can justify that. I felt like I was at the dmv, and it took a while. I don't know what else to say, please guys if you're reading this go to helping hand, or if you're feeling adventurous go to gross pointe or Ann Arbor (Ada east, arbor side etc). These guys are all heady growers, and you'll be blown away by their prices and quality. Helping hand can take 4 patients at a time, and average wait time for me has been around 4 minutes. They also have some incredible $25 8er specials, and it's honestly on par with something I could see priced at $60 at UC, quite often this happens. $35 all day at Ada, all in house grow and incredible standards. This isn't war, nice guys who I'm sure are doing incredible business. But it's location and marketing, it's not the meds. You owe it to yourself to branch out, the idea that this is anyone's "best dispensary hands down" is just sad.

I really dig this place, and it will become my home for top shelf pick ups. I would never go to one dispensary exclusively, and I wasn't crazy about their lower shelf strains, but they're easily serviceable. The first thing you'll notice about mind right is that it's clean, and very well designed. The materials used through out the space were very rich, from the granite counters to the classic furniture. I'm big into that, usually people who take pride in their facilities also take pride in their meds. This was definitely apparent as soon as I walked through the vaulted door into the bud room. You'll be greeted by 2-3 (white) guys who know a lot about gardening. I talked for what seemed like an hour (it wasn't) with one of the bud tenders about the genetic origins of their in house flower. Cool guys for sure. I grabbed a "bottom top" shelf 8th ($55) of Samoa Cookies yesterday and it's easily the best flower I've smoked from any dispensary since I've been certified. This was on my 2nd visit. My 1st visit I took home some of their in house head band and instantly fell in love. Unfortunately it was all gone when I came back. I will be back when this is done, I'm not crazy about spending $50-60 on a bag, but I went to my top option "bottom Shelf" dispensary right after and was severely under whelmed. All I could think about was the Samoan cookies. Come to think of it, it's all I can think about today as well. Bravo to the grower on that, just a stellar job. I'm a Gardner myself and am really impressed. That rarely happens with the flower I see in most dispensaries.

Not sure how I feel about this place tbh. It's a cool vibe, but it's not really set up to be efficient. Bud tenders move slowly, and you basically don't see what you're getting because it's all pre-weighed in the back. The few times I've been here it's worked out for some top shelf (wasn't dry, buds looked as advertised). But recently (my last visit) I grabbed some moonrox and a g of blue dream (bottom shelf). It looked good in the jar, but I could barely smoke it when I got home. I've been spoiled by other dispensaries, because it shouldn't cost $60 to get high, and that's what you should expect to pay if you want to be happy with GRM. This isn't the worst dispensary at all, not even close. These guys get some heady strains. But everything outside of top shelf isn't worth looking at IMO. Nice strain collections, fairly certain I got PM from one of them, but it's my fault for not washing roots.

The owner was really nice to me, and I appreciate that. But dude this weed is garbage. All of it. It's not worth any amount of money to me or anyone else who has been smoking good weed for a while. I wanted to like it. But there's no chance I would ever spend money there again, and it's unfortunate because it's kinda ruined my tolerance for new dispensaries. Dude fix that lobby and dispensary room, I felt like I was in prison. Best of luck.

I dropped in to S&B on a mission to try and find a dispensary close to my buddies house. The staff seemed nice enough (outside of the owner who was on the phone in the lobby trying to reason with whomever was on the end about how he "just had couches delivered and didn't have any money". I was sitting on the new couch, and as a furniture enthusiast if he spent more than $300 a piece he got ripped off. Either way, not the kind of vibe I'm looking for. The bud was ok. I wouldn't smoke anything from their $10 area again, but some of the $15's and top shelf were ok. Nothing to write home about, and nothing to return over. Bud tender was nice enough, and she kind of chuckled at me when I told her I didn't want her first time goodie bag. I'm done blazing nasty pre rolls, and if you're looking for one of those cheap ass grinders hit me up, because I have about 100 of them. Not great.
