I showed up at 9:40 with the open sign glowing, but the front door was locked. I have worked in the Colorado cannabis industry for 8 years and know full well what open means for a retail dispensary. My last place closed at 9:50PM because Denver law stated we couldn't make a sale past 10:00PM. We were welcoming and grateful to generate revenue up until 10PM. I was met at the locked door by a disgruntled front desk worker who straight up told me how rude it was to come in at that time. I asked if I should leave, she reassured me I was ok. Clearly it was an issue. She then fumbles with my info on my ID and sends me back to someone I've had the misfortune of being served by before. This blackhole of a budtender is always in a terrible mood. Brother, if you are out there, please find a different job. I hate to write a harsh review but, damn, was this the final straw. Verde managers, don't forget to remind your employees that they work in customer service. Quality strains, awful service.
