Purple Urkle
3/6/2017
Superb daytime Indica-like strain (imho). Very enjoyable, mellow bliss, calm, body tension melts away, unique spicy, mild authentic grape flavor.
Perfect for after work or going to the dentist.
It was used very effectively in the hybrid "Querkle" which gets 5 stars for its heady, happy, stimulated-mind effect.
***I wonder if Purple Urkle isn't the otherwise elusive North Indian hashplant named "Ukhrul"? See description:
***Ukhrul -by The Real Seed Company:
A highland Manipuri strain grown commercially on the border of Burma. Farmers there are Naga tribesman. Historically, the Naga tribes have at times grown these plants, but it is usually viewed as a Meitei (lowland Manipuri) tradition. This strain is called after the area in Ukhrul. This seems to be a much shorter strain than the classic Manipuri grown in Imphal Valley by the Meitei. Half of plants are the purple phenotype; some are surprisingly resinous. Aromas are sour citrus with some floral notes. Effect is an uplifting 'sativa'. An unusual variety, little seen in the West, likely to be worth exploring for compact 'sativa' genetics.
