Sunburn

10/1/2018
I purchased Sunburn as a pre-ground "ready to roll" mix from Curaleaf. It is a wonderful and potent strain. At first smell, my nose picked up a sharp citrus smell. It is pungent and will tickle your nose when you smoke it. Thoughts are clouded and worries are placed at ease almost immediately. Physical energy and reflexes seem to remain unchanged. When smoked, there is a dark floral aroma with a musky aftertaste that is pleasant and nice. It feels a bit heady but does not interfere with concentration, aside from a slight feeling of laziness. As higher doses are approached, what initially feels like a slight metabolic bump feels like a metabolic slump and it may be a sativa which is helpful for trying to sleep. Stress and anxiety completely fade, however, it does not seem to do all that much for muscle spasms as it peaks. I originally wrote this review by pen and ink in a journal, I'm still able to persist writing this review, and typing it too. It does feel like it slows racing thoughts and it feels as though it filters out anything that's not relevant to what you choose to do in the moment. At lower doses, I can see this beneficial for studying. At higher doses, this strain is a creeper. Although it is not extremely high in THC, it's effects are very potent. The dark aftertaste begins to turn into a bright floral taste that leaves you licking your lips. Now that I've written and typed this review, I am ready for a nap.

Curaleaf - Bellmawr (Med/Rec)

Curaleaf is a great medical dispensary in New Jersey. The staff is very friendly and not judgmental whatsoever. They are very helpful with seniors and people who need extra time learning what they should purchase. Their products are great. They currently offer a huge selection of products that include oils, topically, lozenges and accessories. The strains of flower they carry on a regular basis is rather extensive. They seem to be doing a great job at keeping up to speed with the increased customer-base in New Jersey. Most patients at Curaleaf speak openly about the dispensary having the best selection in the state. The selection in strains is important not only for preference, but for need. There may be multiple strains that help what you are treating for, but one may be better for bedtime - for example. All the patients are friendly, courteous, outgoing and kind. It is a great experience as a patient because everyone is friendly and willing to help. Nobody stares you down like you're a criminal for buying medicine, and this may be important for some people to know. I've been a customer for nearly a year. I highly recommend choosing this dispensary. They have sales, featured products and a customer loyalty program based on your number of visits. They offer discounts to certain populations, and I'm rather certain their website lists this information. I spend an average of ten minutes per visit. They have a great management team of professionals and a beautiful showroom, including a waiting room in the lobby. These are most of the things I'd like to know if I was choosing a dispensary for the first time.

Wappa

Wappa is a hybrid that acts like a huge magic symptom eraser. Anxiety? Pain? No problem. It doesn't smell bad either. It's scent reminds me of chamomile tea with a mild musky tone that is floral instead of pungent. Definitely more medical in terms of it's effects. It does a great job of allowing pain to be managed while working on other priorities.

Compassionate Sciences, Inc.

Compassionate Sciences gets five stars because the people that work there are really nice. Their products are consistent. Their business model appears to cater to their customers. I say this because they are expanding into a new building while keeping prices low. They have a very nice selection of strains. Some are deductive (removing pain or anxiety) and others are additive (uplifting). The selection they choose, considering the number of strains now available, is a well balanced assortment. Impressive.
