I have been a patient of Takoma Wellness for two years. I am very frustrated with them. At the beginning, it was a small program, and the prices were very high, but they would go out of their way to help you select a medically appropriate medicine, and to help you find a physician and get your card.
Now they serve many more patients and the service is brusque and I feel like I am imposing on them.
Having to look over what's on the receipt in order to get what I purchase is a time-consuming, awkward, and un-needed step.
When I call them now, as I did about my medical card renewal, nobody answered the phone, nobody returned my voicemails.
When I had trouble renewing my card, an employee snarkily suggested I could just stop being in the program altogether.
Their prices are the highest in the country for medical marijuana and I am sick of making excuses for high prices and abrupt service.
I am taking my business elsewhere. They don't seem to care about losing patients anyways now that they have expanded.
