Strawberry Cough

I feel fortunate to be in a position that allows me to smoke and be critical of otherwise top-shelf, potent and incredibly well-cultivated cannabis. EVERYTHING I smoke these days is amazing, and so now it’s inevitably led to my personal “quality gauge” checklist to somehow rate these artisanal buds.....or in other words I’ve become a pot snob. Out of all the infamous strains, both old/new, Sativa/Indica, Strawberry Cough easily makes my top 3 of all time. If you categorize your critique of a particular strain based on flavor, aroma, effects, aesthetics, and combustion tendencies (slow burner vs fast) and the ratio of pros vs cons, Strawberry Cough hits a home run on all categories. Easily an all-time favorite. Sativa-dominant but carries a noticeable body high and inner relaxation in addition to the uplifting and mood enhancing cerebral effects. This strain somehow blends the cerebral effects of a potent Sativa like green crack with the laid-back attitude and chill body high of a good kush.

Strawberry Cough

I typically enjoy both sativas and indicas for their respective effects of being euphoric and motivated or relaxed and sedated. That said, strawberry cough is a sativa that adapts to your particular mood and environment, making the effects versatile enough to consume before hitting the gym or stretching on the couch for a movie or read. The smell is dank berries and it tastes great. The only con is it dries out pretty quickly and becomes brittle. But strawberry cough is in my top 10 list.
