Dixie Scrips P.M. Sleep

12/25/2013
If you're an early riser, not by choice. These capsules may be an answer you've been looking for. Personally, I'm up at least 3 times per night from "twitching" myself awake from crazy muscle spasms and of course our friend Pain. When I took these capsules, (both 50mg each) I fell asleep quickly and when I did wake up I fell back asleep just as easily. My wife is the one who actually got some real rest in a quite a while(I wasn't keeping her awake tossing and turning). So from us, Thanks Dixie. I will absolutely be picking up more.

Dixie Elixirs Pomegranate

12/25/2013
Dixie Elixirs. Wow. Just tried the sparkling pomegranate elixir and it was delicious. Ever had an edible just too, blech? Well for me with this one in particular, had just the right amount of that "edible flavor". It tasted so good. Medicinally beneficial for me due to "calmed effect", not stunted, just chill. Cannot wait to try other elixir flavors. Thanks Dixie!

Another good day thanks to the SFV OG Kush. As always a favorite for the medicinal pile. Stinky, tasty, and effective as always.

Island Sweet Skunk

This is 1 of the sativa strains I truly enjoy. Sometimes me and sativa just don't get along very well. Flavor/+harshness, very appealing, lingering aftertaste left for my taste buds to savor. 4 out 5 for smoothness and taste. Effectiveness, made my nausea so calmed I gorged on as much as I could shovel in(a rare occurrence). Not a great deal of noticeable overall pain relief, but not completely absent either. Overall, I would put this in the medicinal file for very effective gastrointestinal benefits. Once again, I would like to reiterate that these are MY personal experiences, and my not be the same for anybody else. So, just try to keep a basic journal/record of your personal benefits from each strain you try. A pattern of you're personal likes/dislikes will be easily interpreted for you're individual need for particular symptom relief. Enjoy the hunt.

Afgoo

This is one of my original favorites. The first time i tried this was in Northern California. I believe I started mmj in "99". My 1st prescription being from "doc fry" in Cool, California. My friend, we'll call him "Joe", grew some amazing outdoor mmj in the foothills of N.Cal. in 2007(?not for sure). This was the 1st mmj i had the opportunity to trim. All I can say about that is my fingers were covered in delicious finger hash within a very short amount of time. Upon smoking said finger resins, I was blown away. Since we hadn't smoked any of the bud yet(he wanted to cure it 1st). I was infatuated from the 1st puff. 1 hit was all that was necessary, one of those 1 hitter quitter. This is a very strong indica as far as i have found. Despite the fact that I could tell it was by its effects. Flavor, the first word coming to mind would be scrumptious. Super thick, funky, smooth, and pungent.4 out 5, easy going down. Effects, immediate, long lasting relief. Smoking this was one of the 1st times I was able to do normal daily tasks with more ease than usual, due to great pain relief, for numerous ailments 4.5 out of 5. Side note, sativa/indica seem to have the reverse effect on me compared to the "normal" mmj patient. i.e. instead of couchlock I get motivated to socialize and be out of the house. Medicinally beneficial for me 4.5 out of 5. Wouldn't really recommend to the novice(new to mmj). Unless you're ready to be "messed up", as my wife puts it. Final note: will absolutely leave your house smelling mouth watering to even those that don't indulge in the mmj.

Strawberry Cough

12/5/2013
Well, I smoked this before I researched its genetics. Immediately I figured it to be a strong sativa dominant strain. So after finally being able to think clearly again(we put it in a creeper type category) I found that it is commonly accepted as a 75-80% sativa dominant, depending on where you get your info. Flavor/+harshness 3 out 5, kinda rough but completely tolerable, after all it is called strawberry COUGH.Next, tastes like it smells....Yummy. Functionality 4 out of 5, meaning I couldn't do squat. Personal note: will put in the recreational list due to the fact that my brain shut off! As in, felt brain dead. Not to be mistaken for the traditional "couchlock".

MC Caregivers

My usual place was closed, so i took a chance on a different dispense. Notably and foremost the customer service is excellent. On this particular visit i was in a great deal of discomfort, and the patience level and courtesy was comforting. I purchased 2 different strains, each being for different ailments. The results were as the budtender said they would be, dead on. Thanks to MC Caregivers.

My most favorite strain. Flavor, smell, and effect are outstanding for my particular conditions. Easy to grow(hearty, can endure stress) indoor.

Natures Way - Colorado

I love this store. All the budtenders are efficient and knowledgeable. Whether you're in a hurry or have questions, they happily accommodate. They have more strains that i actually enjoy than any place i've been to here in colorado. And more often than not, if they happen to be out of my usual favorites trying something new isn't as risky as most places ive been to.

SFV OG

11/12/2013
My usual criteria to determine whether a particular medication is worth bothering with are, flavor/+harshness,and their level of effect on particular personal medical issues. This is my 1st go at San Fernando Valley OG. However this isn't my 1st OG strain. In fact the strain sfv og comes from (ghost og) i'm not really fond of. NO disrespect to the ghost. Finally, sfv og mildly sweet and funky. Good points for harshness level also 1.5 out of 5. Level of effect on fallowing, pain from ruptured disk/spasms/headache-immediate relief 4.5 out of 5 . Bonus for people who still need to function on meds 4 out 0f 5. these are purely my opinions not to be considered "concrete", simply because i have noticed not all meds do the same for all. Final note, this one will go in my Medicinally beneficial List.
