Kush Hemp
10/13/2020
This is a review for Kush Hemp E1 from Sovereign Fields, which I bought under the name "Bubba Kush" from Beleafer
A little backstory: I use hempflower mostly medicinally, but also recreationally. I tend to lean towards indica effects when searching for hempflower. I use hemp to try to help anxiety and dissociation symptoms. I can't use high THC because it tends to trigger anxiety, dissociation, and panic. I even have to be careful with hemp because if I use too much at once, it can trigger the same issues
I have been searching for YEARS for a hemp strain that can provide couch-lock effects. The last time I was able to find one was Field of Hemps 2018 Remedy (Which they grew themselves), however Field of Hemp stopped selling that version of Remedy, and the new stuff is not very good. I've tried Beleafer's Remedy, Apical Greens Remedy, etc., Beleafer's Legendary OG, WNC's Strawberry Cake, etc. but nothing has come even close to the potency in indica effects as Soverign Fields Kush E1 hemp.
My brain and body are very picky when it comes to Hempflower. I usually run into three problems with strains:
1) I don't feel much effect from the flower. If I do, it's not as potent as I'd like
2) I only feel strong effects the 1st time I try a new strain, but every other time after I don't really feel anything
3) When I do feel effects, the effects only last 10-20 minutes at most
This Kush Hemp E1 though solves ALL those problems.
I usually vape with .1g in a dosing capsule with my Mighty at 400 degrees (I finish at 410), and that puts me exactly where I need to be. If I do anymore than that, anxiety/dissociation/panic can be triggered, which I experienced once with this strain when I tried .2g.
The effects kick in almost immediately. After a couple puffs, it starts with a gentle body buzz. Then the body buzz just keeps getting stronger and stronger to the point where my head is heavy and hard to keep upright, my limbs are heavy, and I have a headband feeling around my head. I'm encourage, but not forced to fall asleep. After maybe 10-20 minutes the sedation dies down some, but the body buzz keeps going, albeit it also does down a little, but is still very noticeable throughout the entire body. The headband effect is still present as well. I also get an ever-so-slightly giggly feeling, and like I want to smile, although this effect is mild and short-lived. After about an hour, I still have the headband and body buzz feeling, and if I try to get up, my body is still heavy. There is definitely some "stony" feel in the head to it, but it doesn't trigger anxiety for me, as it's not really a THC "stoney" feel (Which I don't handle well). Dissociation is mildly triggered, if at all, but it's manageable, and worth it for the body effects. I will say I didn't much get any mental uplift
Overall, this is a 10/10 strain, and my all-time favorite flower currently. I NEVER buy ounces of flower because I never find a strain worth it, but I POUNCED on an Ounce of this stuff.
I truly think this is the closest you can get to regular weed indica effects without getting "High"
