I've been a regular at Nectar since it first opened here in Eugene. They used to have better quality for bargain prices but they are still the go-to place for cheap decent weed. However, if Portland doesn't send it down, the Eugene store often doesn't have grams only eighths or only has grams but no eighths and the store tenders here aren't allowed to break down an eighth if someone only wants a gram. Location is good for me and the hours are excellent. Too many strains makes it hard to find one I like that I can afford. I like the loyalty program, I always need papers or a lighter. The budtenders are nice and patient with an old stoner like me.
This is a new shop for me, close enough to consider, so I checked out the Labor Day weekend deals. They offer something called Flints (I think), basically .5 gr of four different flowers from the same cost shelf, which works great for me. At a cost of about $3 for each one, I was able to try four strains at home for not a lot of money. Granted, I wasn't impressed with three of them but there is one I like and it's on the bottom shelf costwise, so trying small amounts of each worked for me. Cheaper than buying grams. They offer a senior discount although it didn't show that this morning on the Leafly page. They also have a rewards program, but I don't have a lot of detail on that. I always sign up because I am on limited income and welcome any deals or discounts I can get.
There were a couple of problems, and since I do pinch those pennies, I went back on Labor Day and talked with (utoh....not sure I remember his name correctly... Benton?) the manager and he resolved everything for me. Nice place, some new staff I think, I suggest you have them confirm prices and quantity until you get to know them.
bottom line, I like the product I got for the price I paid. I would suggest more choices for the cost-conscience among us, but I'll return. Bring down the cost of cartridges a bit, too. Stay equal to the other shops in town.
Thanks for being patient and understanding with this stoner from the 60s.
We were in town for the eclipse and ran out of medicine, so we stopped at The LC Collective and found it very nice, good people, fair prices (in fact, better than many down in Eugene) and I was able to combine two eighths for the quarter price and also got a discount for being either medical or old or something, about 10% which also helped (older lady on fixed income so discounts are vital to me). The two types of flower were both good, loved the taste of Biscuit flower. I also found Who? cartridges $5 cheaper than what I find in Eugene. If it wasn't a 250 mile round trip, I'd go back for sure. Should anyone ask me, I'll be glad to recommend the Collective. Thanks for saving our vacation at a reasonable price.
I have been here twice now and I really like the selection and prices that they offer. I am on limited fixed income so every penny counts. Both times, the tender on duty was very helpful and the product is good. I may not be able to afford the more potent offerings but just knowing I can get something decent for the small amount of money I have makes me a fan. They could maybe jazz the place up a little, more light perhaps but the display is good and I like that they have large containers to look at and sniff. They also have prerolls for many of the different strains that are affordable, I may check out one of those next time.
I've been gone from here for a while and it was nice to see everyone this morning. Thanks for remembering me and automatically giving me my lovely senior discount. Every penny counts these days. You know I'll be back.
