Higher Leaf - Kirkland

One of the more expensive locations on the Eastside. Unlike other shops in the area they do not include sales tax in their prices, which makes their pricing more expensive than it appears. On top of that, they use a $XX.99 pricing model as another method to appear cheaper than they actually are. Even after many customers complain about this pricing model they refuse to change it. So, unless Higher Leaf proves it actually cares what their customers think, I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere.

BelMar Bellevue Marijuana Store

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this store. After raising their prices, they are now just about the highest priced shop on the Eastside. When I first purchased an 1/8th of Artizen Cherry Pie it was reasonably priced at a little over $60 out the door. The same product is now priced at $75. On top of that, they will say their prices have not risen but have been lowered. They aren't even the best priced shop in Bellevue, let alone the Eastside (as they claim) and cheaper Artizen, Fireline, and Top Shelf and be found in the very same city. In fact, each farm is $3+ cheaper per gram after all sales taxes are applied. On the plus side, they do offer to price match (which isn't advertised, hmmmmmm). This is important because the shop does not price their flower competitively and even if they know another shop has a lower price they do not adjust their own price (hoping uninformed/naive customers will overpay). BEWARE, you will overpay unless you price match.

The Novel Tree - Bellevue

Unlike Green Theory or BelMar, The Novel Tree handled the new tax law perfectly! All their displayed and advertised prices included the excise tax in the price. Don't be fooled by the other Bellevue shops "lower" prices, they almost certainly do not include excise tax, which is actually required by law (who knows how they are getting away with it). Can't say I am surprised since The Novel Tree is often one step ahead of their competition in pricing. And because their pricing is always a step ahead, I wished they would carry more of the higher end farms because they would surely set the bar on the pricing. Anyway, daily happy hour and great sales means there is always a reason to check in. Though I do wish the product was displayed a bit better and there were some smell jars. Overall, I'd say this is my go to spot in Bellevue.

Issaquah Cannabis Company

One of the best shops on the Eastside. Extremely competitive prices on a large selection of product. They are often the lowest priced on the Eastside. Also they include all taxes in their prices, so it may appear they are more expensive than other shops, but very few shops include the new excise tax (37%) and sales tax (9.5%) in their displayed prices. This makes shopping much more convenient as I do not need to bring a calculator to figure out my total. I also love the daily sales and I check in everyday to see what is being offered. It would, however, be nice to see additional sales where an entire farm went on sale or just a more unique sale (especially if it was during a busy weekend like the 4th). And though they have an excellent display for all their product, they could use some smell jars.
