Here on the Island, local strain Pink Lightning was available somewhat recently. A cross of Pink Kush and White Lightning, it is powerful, tasty and long-lasting. Definitely a hybrid hound but no complaints. Smells good cutting it up, tastes good smoking it and the buzz is top shelf. Pink Lightning: it deserves its own strain page.

My batch was nice looking buds with a typical indica look (compact and dense). Once chopped into, the fragrance was similar to Shishkaberry aka Kish...Nice enough and a smooth taste too. The buzz for me is certainly not overwhelming, yet strong enough to know you're stoned. Flavour and taste is somewhat subdued, yet again, typical and "familiar" Indica dominant traits... I was more functional compared to being high on other Indicas and never felt it was intrusive. In fact, I went to the grocery store and didn't feel weird doing so. I'd recommend this strain, even for relative novices....Just don't overdo it up front. You can always add a toke but you can't take one away!

First off, the smell of the buds in the bag is frickin' scrumptious. Om Nom Nom. Nice, compact and dense buds that smoke slow. Very flavourful and smooth, just a minor cough from taking too big a toke! I just picked up a batch of this for the first time, and am enjoying a really nice buzz as I write this...I took 4 tokes and I am plenty baked thank you. More than that and it might be too much(?)... I note that I could feel a buzz on the first exhale and it was instant...but not overpowering in a trip-you-out kind of way, just no lag time :) Now, about an hour afterwards, the high is good. It's Indica "familiar" (and I am able to bang this copy out with no spelling errors! HA - try that when you're piss drunk). So yeah, if you happen upon Strawberry Kush, get some!

A nice strain. It's a clean, steady buzz - good for all things chill. As the effects wear down, it will be nappy time! I've had two batches recently, both times I've been happy with my purchase. Jordan Of The Islands is always a good choice.

I like this strain. A solid, clean Indica buzz that's enjoyable in all its phases. Decent taste and nice looking strain too. I found it suitable for weekends and evenings. Recommended, even for "beginners" :D

Strong head buzz with a definite "crash landing" (aka bedtime.) Not for daytime or when being focused and functional is required! I'm baked on this strain at the moment and it's very much an Indica. 3 stars only because the batch I acquired was too dry, and thus has become powdery crumble...

Look: Sage-coloured knarly, knotted buds dusted with orange snow. Really nice Smell: A bit earthy but intensity jumps once you start chopping some up. Taste before Ignition: "Air" toke says midly sweet mixed with earthy flavour. Toke Taste: Rich smoke, has the trait of a resinous strain and it flirted with making me cough like Kush strains can do (ever notice how much more stoned you feel after a coughing fit?) Batch: Props to the provider/grower. Clean, light ash. Cured nicely and not too dry, not too green. The Buzz: Strong, calm buzz. Definitely does make you chill so watching TV is about as active as you'd want to be, imho. Feel it in the eyes, had to squint to see clearly LOL I would buy Zombie Kush again.

A default Go To Indica. Excellent strain (and almost "old school" now, in this age of a billion strains). Has the classic Kush flavours, tastes and smell (nice!) and the buzz is legendary - very comfortable and can last a solid 3 hours. Very immediate buzz and overwhleming at times - early on...After the first "wave" subsides, it's all good. But you might find this strain induces moments of paranoia / "trippin" aka as What a Rush!...I know it did with me but it's short-lived and manageable. Without question, Violator is the best-smelling, best-tasting ganja out there. Pungent, spicy, full-bodied fragrance. And it tastes like it smells! Sooo good. Damn, if Hindu Kush and Malana (why no review of this strain on Leafly yet, by the way?) creates this powerful narcotic bouquet, I want to try some Malana too. Tread carefully my friends, or you might feel violated LOL

A tasty and powerful strain. Pink Kush blended with OG Kush and G13...Full-on stone. Delicious, full-bodied buds with that nice earthy / fuel flavour. Midly brittle flowers, plenty of colours and "oily". Om Nom Nom. Ultra Pink provides instant effects that might be especially intense initially but when things settle down, the long-term experience is a good one. Relaxing and also enhances your senses, so funny will be really funny. Not really a wake & bake choice. Just too strong.
