Frankenstein a kickass indica for a relaxing, casual, nighttime smoke sesh. The first time I really smoked a lot of this strain (~4 blunts) was while I was camping with a friend of mine. We smoked this around noon, immediately gorged ourselves on beef jerky and donuts, then napped. The head-high I experienced while dozing was so intense I actually stepped outside to lay down on the ground in the rain. My head and eyes were so heavy I immediately went to sleep. We woke up around 8pm, smoked even more, and slept in till about 9 that morning. Needless to say, this strain is ridiculously effective for anyone suffering from insomnia. Potent and fast acting, this strain is ideal for a bed time stoner seeking deep, dreamless sleep. I would suggest anyone sensitive to anxiety from cannabis to steer clear altogether or simply smoke less than you usually would. I never get very anxious while high, but the intensity of this strain really kicked me in the pants. I give Frankenstein a full 5 star review for it's incredibly potent, relaxing effects and powerful body high. The perfect strain for a heavy smoker who needs to sleep just as heavily.

Space Queen is, without a shadow of a doubt, my favorite strain. Me and my buddies have been smoking this stuff for a few months now and I've been impressed with every toke. The mental effects are borderline psychedelic, usually manifesting in positive, funny thought loops or giggly conversations. This strain is simply fun to smoke. I always experience a huge appetite spike about a half hour into my session if I smoke a few bowls or more. Like clockwork, my brain is thrust into a culinary roller coaster-- envisioning all the delightful foods I could be eating and enjoying. For people looking to boost appetite (like myself) you'll love this strain. The second time I smoked space queen I'd decided to walk down to my local park to light up and have a walk. You'll feel energetic and uplifted, making this an ideal daytime/morning strain. After getting to the park and sparking up a freshly roller joint me and my two friends decided to walk the trails surrounding the park. To our amusement we didn't make it fifty feet before noticing that "we weren't moving" but instead walking in place. Time slowed to a standstill, and this of course made us laugh and really connect. If you have a lot of work to do or tasks to sort out, skip Space Queen. I suppose mechanical tasks would be fine but if you try and focus your cognitive abilities you won't get far. I struggled to word a text message after smoking a few joints of this stuff. Focus is not really going to happen. In addition, the dry mouth you'll experience with Space Queen is very intense. I definitely recommend keeping water handy, especially if you are out and about enjoying this strain outdoors. I give Space Queen a full 5 stars for it's incredibly fun, sociable, and trippy buzz. Perfect daytime strain for the anxiety-suffering toker.

Purple Passion is one of my favorite strains because of its versatility-- it's perfect for a relaxing daytime smoke, but loading up a few bowls before bed is a great option too. You aren't locked into the effects like you would be with a stronger indica or a very cerebral sativa... instead you're given the best of both worlds with a very introspective, relaxing high. I've smoked several eighths of Purple Passion so far and can confirm its mildness. I would recommend this strain to people wanting to experiment with anti-anxiety strains. I smoke for pain relief, and this strain never fails to make me very comfortable. The drawbacks aren't particularly noticable, but I certainly experience an exceptionally dry mouth after only a few small hits. This is to be expected of course, but the dry mouth is strong with this one. This may not be a con for some people, but the strain is also very strong smelling. I opened my bag that has about a gram or so left in it and it reeked for a few minutes even after resealing my baggie. If you're keeping things discreet in your apartment, dorm etc I would recommend double bagging or odor spray as a must. Needless to say the strain smells heavenly, a characteristic that unfortunately doesn't carry over to its taste and smoke quality. This strain is definitely harsher than most and tastes poor. The grape flavor would only be noticable in well-cured and high quality bud. I'm smoking dispensary quality Purple Passion and still don't notice any flavors beside a sage smell/taste on the retrohale; I normally admire the sage taste but this strain doesn't do it for me. Since flavor and smoke quality are all secondary to the medical effects of this strain, I give it a confident 4 stars. I'll always smoke Purple Passion, day or night, for its rounded effects and mild relaxation.
