I ordered a bag of 30 gummies that cost $38. When I got there they quoted me $20 and brought out a bag that was half the amount I ordered. I said that’s not what I ordered; I ordered double that amount. They went back and looked and came back with a second small bag, for a total of $2 more than the same amount cost in one bag. I said OK can you give me the two bags for the price of the bag that I ordered, and he said no. I said really? You won’t give me what I ordered _and_ you won’t make the price adjustment for the inconvenience? He said no. I asked to speak to the manager and explained what happened, and the manager said the employee didn’t have the authorization to make that adjustment. I said well then can you authorize that and tell him that he should’ve called you over to get the authorization? He said he was not going to coach the employee. I said well can you at least give me the amount that I ordered for the amount that it was supposed to cost. He said OK. Then he went and looked and came back with exactly what I had ordered in the first place. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Long time customer, first time in their new store on Union Hills & 7th Ave. Decent-looking place — a prominent location compared to their old hidden-away one— and I got very nice service from Dane. Wasn’t happy about waiting in line for 25 minutes and then being told there was a separate line for medical. They should do a better job of communicating that to their customers.

Small, crowded, and loud. My salesperson was in a rush to get me out. I'm the kind of shopper who takes five minutes choosing a $3 lip balm in a drug store. Why should I be expected to choose a $30 item in three seconds in a dispo? My salesperson suggested I look at their menu online. I don’t shop that way, especially for things I don't know much about. I need to pick up, hold, and read a product package before I buy something— especially when shelling out a lot of money for a little thing (and don’t get me started about the outrageous cost of marijuana products compared to pharmaceuticals, which at least people are fighting to reduce the cost of). Speaking of *medical* marijuana: A Goldsmith Extracts vendor at Müv yesterday was saying things like their swag was another goody for your "stoner kit" and their products "get you really high" (I'm paraphrasing, but he definitely said stoner and really high). I'm a patient, not a stoner, and my goal is not (usually) to get high. I know that I owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to all the stoners who courageously made the cannabis culture when it was illegal and pushed to have marijuana decriminalized and legalized, both for medicinal and recreational purposes. But in a medical marijuana dispensary you shouldn't imply that customers are stoners and talk about getting high. A "patient" "medicates," and is not necessarily a "stoner" who "gets high." I personally enjoy getting high sometimes when I don't need to be sober, but I imagine a lot of patients don't. People who work in Arizona medical marijuana dispensaries should focus on patients and medicine. For all those reasons, I don't think I'll be shopping at Müv anymore.

Walking into the lobby I feel like I'm walking into a museum reception area, and when I look through the wall of thick glass into the cardholders-only area, it looks like a museum gift shop. It's almost like an Apple store but less crowded, at least the three times I've been there. They don't assign you to a salesperson who escorts you to a station; instead, they let you walk in on your own and wander around the tables in the center of the large room and the shelves that line the walls. There are salespeople behind a long counter like the Genius Bar at Apple stores. They will help you if you want, but if you don't need any help, you can sniff and look at their flower thru a magnifier and write down which ones you want. The fact that they have flower samples in containers with little sniffing holes on top and silicone hole covers makes it so you don't leave the dispo smelling like weed. At the end of your browsing, you go to the counter and they will get your stuff and ring you up.

My first time in any dispensary ever. I went because a longtime family friend who worked in a dispensary herself recommended it. I got my card in the mail and immediately called to see if they had someone who could be patient with someone who had never been in a dispensary before. The guy on the phone said certainly, that was their job, and they would be happy to help me. When I got there there were few empty spaces in their small parking lot, so that was convenient, and there was a security guard at the door, so that felt safe. My first steps were pretty much as expected – give them my card and my photo ID, fill out some paperwork, and sit and wait to be called on. No problem there. I did note that the orange fabric on some of their chairs in the waiting room was stained, but no biggie. In short order someone opened the door for me and Jerad introduced himself and told me he would be my budtender. He didn’t seem keen on the fact that it was my first time ever; in fact, he seemed kind of distracted. I told him about the symptom relief I was looking for and how I needed to stay unimpaired for work. For the first few minutes we were together, he kept fiddling with my MMJ card. By the time he was flicking it and spinning it quite avidly, I finally said, “Wow, you’re really playing with my card, there.” At that point he stopped. I swear, I felt like I had to do all the work to connect with him, to get him to take an active interest in me as a unique individual. Not my idea of a good first time. I got several things and he started to ring them up before I had finished shopping. I had to stop him twice from ringing me up until after I had selected all my items and was ready to pay. It seemed like he was more interested in serving the next customer than he was in getting me everything I needed or wanted. Now, as far as what he did right: he answered all my questions, he waited for me while I indecisively smelled flower to pick what I wanted, gave me three presealed packs of each flower strain to choose from (telling me this was a service they offered), and even brought me out a couple of free samples of edibles when I said “I know you can’t medicate at a dispensary; it’s too bad I couldn’t taste one of these edibles before I bought them.” He warned me about the potency of their tinctures and capsules, and told me about special offers for new customers, birthdays, etc. He seemed to warm to me slightly, but only after I called him on twiddling the heck out of my card. He told me about their offers of a free preroll for writing a review on Leafly, so here I am writing it. Jerad does a decent job; I just hope he will make a conscious effort to give each customer the personal attention they deserve. As for the dispensary, I have no problem going back or recommending it.
