Northwest Cannabis Company

Just placed my second order online for pickup. Love Oregon's newish 2 ounce limit. Northwest Cannabis is my new goto shop after recent disappointment with anotjher "fast" shop that rhymes with Hanes that used to be my area's best source for affordable ounces of flower. I'm an old school head who occasionally needs to supplement my own grows with some commercial here and there. It's never going to be as good as my own herb and breeding projects so I'm perfectly happy with a great ounce for $10-$35 to get me through. I had to try their $8 = $2 tax ounce just to say I did in 2022 and it was from an older harvest but still smoked great and got me where I wanted to be.. The first ounce I ever bought was a $15 bag of brown Colombian in 1979 so the $10 bag tasted extra sweet just remembering that time. This is the shop for value seekers. Plenty of good flower here for under $50 for the daily heavy tokers looking to get by. Like most good shops, top shelf here is also great and avail at high prices when you want a treat. I love the online order and quick pickup option that works well and applies discounts easily and menu updated frequently and usually accurate. Thanks to all who work here to make the place and online order system run.

I hadn't visited in almost two years, ever since I started growing Mephisto Genetics autoflowers, but my friend had a cash windfall and we were up for some variety so we two old hippies stopped by and asked a young hippie to recommend their current best flower. Got a split ounce, half of Jack Herer with a nice flowery nose and crazy high tested thc % and half of Slurricane, of Dosidos legacy which presents as white fuzzy trich on trich super dense nugs. Both great strains which will satisfy even a craft home grower used to the dankest of the dank sticky icky. Thank you for the excellent recommendations. Peace!

Every time I have strayed from my favorite nearby premier Beaverton dispensary in search of an alleged deal, I have come away disappointed. Until now, that is. Cherry pie is terrific. Perhaps not as fresh a harvest as I would choose if shopping for top shelf, but at $50 an ounce this extremely well cared for and preserved high thc 27.8% outdoor flower is the best deal I may have ever gotten on herb since 1978. Mostly, it is just a smooth great tasting smoke. Shop has a handful of excellent varieties at several well chosen price points all of which considerably lower than most other shops for similar flower. I am also glad that this shop focuses on fresh flower even though they still do offer a small but decent selection of concentrates/extracts, etc. Well worth the 40 minute sunny(or rainy) scooter ride from Beaverton. No reason to ever leave with less than an ounce from here. Gotta love the cannabis surplus in Oregon!

Thanks for the price drop on the Pitbull from Frontier Farms. Great value for anyone seeking strong medicinal painkilling sleep inducing effects. Not strongly scented or tasting but hits hard with an almost instant headbuzz, followed by a good strong case of munchies and then peaceful rest. I should be introducing some new friends to your shop soon. Peace.

Cactus

I just picked up my first taste ever of Cactus (Devil's Lettuce/Green Mart) and loving it. It's got that great indica funky nose with hints of clove over a very faint background of overripe citrus. I keep going back to smell this again and again and I keep getting new notes - earthy, at first I did not detect any diesel elements, but it's there too. Extremely complex scent profile, not simply a strong one. I'd love to see its terpene profile. I'm only one hit and 5 minutes with my nose in the bag into this and I can already tell that this strain is going to become a new favorite. Great powerful heady creative uplifting buzz along with a deep body buzz as well. No couch lock, this is an energetic high for me, not sleepy in any way. If you told me this was Northern Lights, I would have told you "Yup, true to strain". Enough said. This is an almost instant classic in my mind and certainly should be considered by any Northern Lights connoisseurs

Electric Lettuce - Cedar Hills

I've visited three times and have not been back in while, not for any good reason other than I have another really great shop a bit closer to me where they have always gone above and beyond for me. That takes nothing away from these guys. Love the atmosphere and the staff. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Felt more like dealing with a long time smoking buddy than dealing with staff. I moved to Oregon one year ago this month and have visited about 20-25 different shops and sampled a bit over 150 varieties(I saved every container) during this time. I am 100% flower smoker and only use concentrates I prepare myself. The single best variety of herb I sampled during 2017 was "Hawaiian" from Atlas Farms purchased at Electric Lettuce. I purchased it on my first visit after one staffer brought out a newly stocked jar for another staff member to check out. I checked it out too and could only buy a quarter because I already had 3/4 of other flower weighed out. Came back two weeks later and was so glad they still had some left and re-upped another full oz that I savored for a couple of months keeping it aside for when I wanted a gourmet treat. Staff recommendations were spot on the next time I returned when it was no longer available. Really loved the "Smarties" variety which even came with a bonus of three beautiful fully formed seeds which I just started to sprout this week for kicks. Crap shoot on the genetics, but who knows, more than a few accidental breedings have produced unexpectedly good results. This is a great place that sold me the best flower I smoked in 2017 and I average 1-2 grams a day everyday. Peace, I'll see you guys again soon.

Needed to add something to my review that I had forgotten. One of the premium concentrates I purchased looked NOTHING like the sample in the display case. I mean completely different. Case sample looked like clear amber and golden honey, but what I found in my paper fold was dark, dull, cloudy and borderline gritty. I mentioned it on next visit and was given some lame excuse, but offered no remediation. I didn't make a big deal of it because I had already sworn myself off any concentrates that I did not prepare myself from that point on.

Had a pleasant first visit here two weeks ago but still waiting for a response to two emails with questions and comments I sent to this dispensary before I complete a full review here. I see that you have responded to some comments here on Leafly, so please CHECK your email acct at greengoddesspdx. Thanks!

Burmese Kush

A wonderful connoisseur strain. Sweet and pungent, this one is so much of what I love about a good Indica dominant strain. A nice smooth smoke with no touch of harshness at all. A wonderful grow at 26.12%. Very complex aroma is consistent with a complex cannabinoid and terpene profile and a seriously complex high, stone, and buzz. A sweet fruity high note against a subtle piney with touch of diesel background with a dark, sweet heavy, honeyed licorice finish on the nose. I concur with the "creeper" weed status of this strain that seems to be prevalent. The initial buzz is almost immediate and there is no doubt that you are smoking something special from the start, but 10 minutes after two hits has me riding on an increasingly soaring and intellectual high, multitasking - watering out back, 1 serious and 2 amusing trains of thought going on at once, watching CNN, and writing this strain review. Definitely a strain I'll keep a lookout for in the future...if I remember it.
