Zen Leaf – Cave Creek Road

Great value with their specials, otherwise this place is way way overpriced. This location has the feel of a cheap/sleazy "narco-mill" office. The customer service person behind the counter didn't know pot from potted plants. Go here ONLY FOR SPECIALS.

This is my 2nd review of Parc. Since they've lowered their prices on raw marijuana, I think this is actually going to be my new regular, go-to place. I have been going to Bloom nearby for most things, but I think the quality and freshness of raw bud product is superior from Parc, especially for vaporizing. Plus they've got a much speedier customer service process. My only complaint is the same as in my previous review. Parc doesn't have the greatest vibe. It's in a building resembling a quansett hut in an industrial location near the airport, and it has a discount environment feel to it--which makes more sense now that they've lowered prices.

I've visited this establishment a couple of times, because their location is pretty convenient when I'm on the west side. On my first time it seemed like I waited just a little too long after completing my registration papers. Then on my second visit I felt a bit pressured to buy their most expensive product. Not a big deal in either case, especially compared to some other places around the metro area.

I saw this place featured in a trendy online design magazine recently. Although the waiting area is small, they process customers into the sales area pretty quickly. I guess they count on customers thinking the sales floor is so beautiful they won't mind spending extra money on product that is available other nearby places at lower prices. TruMed is a boutique store with botique prices to match. I have even seen expensive luxury and sports cars parked in their lot.

Health for Life - McDowell

I usually go here for the kief special, and I've also tried their "caviar" product, which is great but very expensive per gram. This location has the feel like it should be a discount dispensary/outlet store, but it isn't. It feels bare bones and selection is relatively limited, but prices seem more in line with the higher-end dispensaries around town. Thus, I question what their marketing niche is or who exactly they're trying to attract as customers.

Bloom is my go-to place because of their pricing and frequent specials, but if another nearby dispensary started offering the same deals, I'd probably go to them instead. Bloom's customer service and fulfillment system is a multistep process that can take 30 minutes or more to get through. I can't fathom why they don't have a system where you can make your order and pay for and receive it all at the same point, like most other dispensaries. Currently you need to interact with at least 3 different staff at Bloom before you can get out the door. They even have two waiting areas, because their customers do a lot of waiting around. It's all terribly inefficient and frustrating.
