Without a doubt Takoma Wellness Center is the gold standard of what a Washington DC Medical Marijuana dispensary ought to be. This store is not only locally owned but you do business with the Kahn family daily when you enter the dispensary. They are the most warm and engaging people you could ever meet at a dispensary and and went a long way toward making me feel comfortable buying my cannabis in an actual store with a real receipt. The price for quality can't be beat in the District. It's a shame that in DC you have to pick and choose, by loyal or leave, but even if I could shop at any of the District's shops I don't think I'd want to go anywhere else. I've always felt pretty good when I smoked weed but coming to Takoma was the first time I actually felt good about getting it.
