I’ve been turned away due to the dispensary being “too busy” one wayyyy too many times. Despite calling at 5:07pm to verify I can still stop in at 6:30pm, I was still turned away at 6:39pm.
I was told they close in 20 minutes and the manager cut the line at 6:30pm. I explained the situation, that I called, that I cannot make it any other time because of my job. They should have said the line will be closed early when I finally got to speak to someone on my 6th phone call there today.
I left work early to get there in time before closing. I, myself, work in a long term care pharmacy. If I told my patients that I was too busy & they can’t get their meds, well then I wouldn’t be helping anyone at all. To my dismay, I don’t get many opportunities to make it during their store hours because of my long shifts. This is not the first and not the second time this has happened to me. When asking to speak to the manager, I was told “she’s inside working, and I will not get her to explain the same thing to you.” As a patient, I should never feel like an inconvenience. The fact that this occurs often here is beyond upsetting to me. They hardly answer the phone ever. I have left multiple messages and never received calls back. I’ve given them chances throughout the last 2 years & the fact that professionalism cannot be attained is ridiculous.
My business will be taken elsewhere to say the least. I’d rather die in pain than give them anymore of my business or my money. My frustration has hit its limits. Enough is enough.
