Funny thing is, I was in a year long recovery center for alcohol near this store, and would often walk by when AmeriCanna 1st opened. I would walk by dreaming, knowing I might not drink again, but I will certainly smoke when I am out of the rehab... I dropped in about a month and a half ago, and got one of their $24 eights. The staff was cool, the 1/8 was at 26% THC, and I got some sorta cool/cheesy leaf socks. I came back again, and then got one of their $30 quarters! That is crazy Old School pricing for some select herb! Once again, cool staff, and the manager - a really nice lady whose name I did not get- was busy stocking, and then I got another pair of socks. Yummy bud again. My last visit, I purchased another 30$ 1/4. A new guy (new to me) helped me, and seemed a bit less knowledgeable than the other employees I had dealt with. He let me smell the limited, specific bud for that deal price, and it was at around 25% THC. I like higher CBD also, but am just mentioning the stony aspect of high THC. He put my purchase in a bag, with another pair of silly weed socks, and I went on my way. Not until some time had passed, and I was far from the shop, I opened the bag to find the THC level listed was 1/2 that of what I smelled and was labelled.. I returned to the shop to be advised, and that is why I am writing this review. The guys that were running the store earlier were there, and I explained the inconsistency. Then it became uncomfortable, and they seemed to scramble to give me answers they think I wanted. Their mistake rationale was not plausible, and it took forever to return the 1/2 in exchange for a couple of grams of good old Jack Herer. They did not give me the 30$ 1/4 deal or even the 24$ 1/8 one, but gave me the 2 grams at regular price with shoddy cover up concerning the previous exchange. They whispered, made excuses that made not sense, and the guy took forever to fix it all. He was in back for and absurd amount of time. It seemed like they were trying to cover tracks. So, if the manager was there, I am sure it would have ended up different. I was not compensated or adjusted to address wrong info, a trip back to the dispensary, or just being a pretty cool newer customer. Being used to the generous Cali dispensaries, I will probably not go back to AmeriCanna because I feel they did not handle things properly. Last visit no good. But, before that they were Aces!
