Kali Mist

This is a very "transparent" strain, in the same sense as certain guitar distortion pedals are termed "transparent" because they preserve as much of the guitar's signal as possible while adding extra harmonics and fuzz. I have always hated "transparent" pedals: the opaque ones have more character, and that goes for weed as well. This strain adds psychedelic harmonics to what you're already feeling, and doesn't change the original tone enough. I don't agree with this strain's reputation of being good for fighting depression: if anything, it accentuates it. Nor do I think it has especially creative properties: for that, go for 3 Kings, Tangie or a Super Sour Diesel, or even Green Crack; Kali Mist just makes me stare at an empty page and trip. It's not bad for digging music or zoning out, but it's the most couch-locky sativa I've ever met. Not my thing.

Magellan

A long time ago there was a strain going around called Oregon Grape and it tasted like this. The terpenes gave it an odd lavender-cedar-coriander impression, something like a cross between an herbal tea cabinet and a cuban cigar room. It vanished due to being out-competed, and I pined for it because there was nothing like that flavor. Well, Magellan is not only that exact flavor, but five times as stoney, with a sharp, clear focus, sky-breaching euphoria and an imaginative horizon, very worthy of the explorer it's named after. I can see sailing a wooden ship through the multiverse and exploring other worlds with a barrel of this stuff scenting the cabin. I've never had any weed better for writing than this. I feel like I'm in the scenes I'm writing. There is a door in your mind, and some strains are especially tailored to be a key. This is one, my favorite strain of all.

Awesome selection, great products, good prices, not much in the way of oils/cartridges.

I think they are expensive and their selection is not impressive, particularly of oils/cartridges; that being said, the quality of what they do have is probably the best, consistently, in town.

White Fire OG

Very sweet-tasting, and one of the strongest "daytime" buzzes you could ask for, but no edge at all. In fact it's so strong that I don't recommend smoking it; use a vape, or it'll go to your head more than you might be ready for. It's so strong that the store I got it from classified it as a pure indica; I had to tell them it was a 60% sativa.

OG Kush

There are many, many different versions of this; my favorite for flavor is the Montana OG that's been around lately (it's slightly sweeter and less harsh and peppery on the throat than George W or some others), but it's easy to see why this is a popular strain. If you want to relax, a couple chalice load of this is perfect.

Energetic, happy, and dreamy, and great for an active, sunny day. The intense purple of the leaves is hilarious, as is the weird mix of skunk and lavender odors (Pepe le Peu wearing Lilac Vegetal), but a nice tasty feeling for a day at the beach.

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh... That should be all I have to say. One of the most relaxing sativas. Just as energetic as, say, a Green Crack, but much warmer, so even the most mundane, boring junk is fascinating and needs your love. Incredible for music. Hard to find because of how popular it is: it sells out quick. A lot of the newer offshoots of it are great too: Jack's Crack is a really nice citrusy flavored one that reminds me of a really strong Cinex in effect.

I haven't actually tried this strain; this review is of one of its offspring that can't be reviewed yet: Oregon Grape. AK-47 & White Widow had a baby named Oregon Grape. It tastes like nothing you've ever had before and is the most powerful, bright and yet mellow sativa I've ever tried.

I haven't actually tried this strain; this is a review of one of its offspring that can't be reviewed yet: Oregon Grape. AK-47 & White Widow had a baby named Oregon Grape. It is the most delicious, powerful and up-bright sativa I have ever had by a good order of magnitude. Seriously, there's Oregon Grape, and then there's everything else.
