This is an excellent, extremely professional, and well handled dispensary. It is set up very much like a pharmacy which serves as a reminder that this is a facility created for medical reasons. Very different from California where some dispensaries may resemble package stores. I am extremely thankful that after some research I chose Prime as my preferred dispensary. The pharmacists are nothing but helpful in recommending what products are best for one's conditions. If you are a MMJ patient and are part of the program solely because you want to smoke buds and analyze strains and their varying trichromes, then you are in this for the wrong reasons. If you are complaining about the lack of variety in products and the fact that product is pre-ground, then you clearly have not read through Connecticut's MMJ law and you do not understand how the process works. As of right now there are only four licensed producers in the state of Connecticut, and the only six dispensaries in Connecticut are reliant on these four producers. Their product must come from Connecticut as of right now. The products arrive to the dispensary pre-ground, and they took a while to arrive due to the processes the producers had to legally go through before sales could begin. So far I have been nothing but happy with the products I have purchased from Prime. I use them as recommended, and as a cancer patient that is currently undergoing chemo and radiation, I have found that the sativa dominant hybrids are incredibly effective in fighting my fatigue, and that both hybrids work well against my chemo induced nausea and vomiting. The staff regularly checks in with its patients to see how they are doing with the products they have purchased, and notifies them about potential new products. I am very proud of Connecticut and Prime in that they have found a way to treat cannabis as a true medical product instead of putting a medical guise on something recreational. Prime also provides discounts to its patients that would like to have more open access to massage, reiki, and various fitness groups that may help in treating their conditions. Make sure you do your research before rushing to blame. Becoming a MMJ patient may be a tedious process and no law is without its flaws, but it is well worth the wait. Once again, the staff is so friendly and helpful here that I could not be more thankful in choosing Prime as my preferred dispensary.
