Shango Hillsboro

They had some good specials which got me in the door. It's a bustling place and everyone is helpful. They are more apt to push their product over any of the others but as long as you can stand your ground, you'll be good.

Electric Lettuce - Old Town

It's located in Old Town with a big opened lobby. The dark wood decor is nice. The prices are average. I am a fan of White Label Extracts and this is where I usually go for it. They also carry a wide range of flavored turpens. I know it is to the discretion of each dispensary but it would have been nice if my rec friend (who wasn't buying) could have been in the same side with me. My friend was visiting and wanted to check things out. It was awkward and it wasn't the best first-time experience for my friend and as much as I had liked the place, it also gave me some pause.

Kaleafa Cannabis Co - Portland

This place was recommended to me by several people. The thing is, this place is no where near "on the way" anywhere for me but its worth the trek. It's easy to find and there is street parking and a parking lot. Just be courteous to the neighbors. I don't think I have ever been here when its not busy. I like that the lobby is stocked with a variety of coffees, teas, and Red Vines. I come here for Red Vines too. This is split into medical and recreational but the flower would be on the rec side. Sometimes its so busy in that side of the house that being in the medical side is a relief from the bustling madness. The bud tenders are knowledgable and friendly. The prices are great for the quality. It keeps me coming back.

Bridge City Collective - Southeast Portland & Delivery

Located in inner SE Portland and an easy jaunt across from the Burnside Bridge, this dispensary is treats both medical and recreational. They have this neat feature where you can pre-order and pick up at that store. I haven't tried this yet. I like to peruse my wares but in a crunch, it's good to know this is an available service. Walking into the shop, you're greeted at the little window and you may have to wait if its busy. Once you're in, every bud tender I've dealt with have been knowledgable and friendly. They make good recommendations based on what you're looking for. I really like how their concentrates are arranged from indica to sativa, heavy to happy. It makes for a nice visual. All in all, it's a good place to go especially if you're a newb.

Westside Wellness

Westside Wellness is a medical/recreational dispensary on the westside of town. It has its own parking lot with spillover parking located across the street. The product is good. The prices are a bit high for the quality. I've been here a few times and the flower is mediocre. When you buy concentrates, be careful that you don't accidentally buy the half gram. The specials, aren't very special. Depending on who your bud tender is, knowledge is hit and miss.
