Star Buds Lawton

Worst clinic experience in Lawton or the world. I'm a 100% total permanent disabled Veteran. I have a mask handicap and can not wear a mask. I was discriminated against and denied service at the door. I even asked if I could place an order in the parking lot and their excuse was my wife did not have a medical card. Makes no sense as I would be in the car. The staff does not need for my wife to be a licensed MMJ caregiver for them to deliver an order to me in the parking lot. Would be a simple and reasonable thing for a staff member to just step outside to their parking lot and hand me my meds. It seems this store is more intent on making you submit to wearing a mask than serving its customers. The staff told me that I needed a note to prove I was disabled and had a mask handicap from a Doctor. I do not need to prove my disability to anyone and its no ones business what my disabilities are. That would also be way to burdensome on me as a disabled person to go around having to prove my disability to everybody just so that I can receive service like anyone else. The staff were hiding behind what they interpret as the law from the city of Lawton. I think they were smoking some bad stuff and cant understand what it is they are reading. One of the staff members gave me a city handout with the city mask ordinance with exceptions to the mask mandate. The paper he gave me says "any person with a medical condition or disability for which a qualified physician has documented prevents said person from wearing a face covering. " No where does the city say I have to prove my mask handicap, it only says I have to have one for which a Doctor certifies me of. Generally guidance from the U.S. Department of Justice has not allowed asking for documentation for accommodations at business where you would have a brief interaction, such as grocery stores or PHARMACIES . A person with a disability typically does not carry disability documentation with them every place they visit. That would be unreasonably burdensome on a disabled person and its nobody's business what a disabled person is disabled for. In the end the same staff member that gave me that hand out thought we were with the city. He thought this was just some kind of sabotage - a setup, that we were with the city and testing them. So not only did I get discriminated against for being disabled, I and my wife was accused of being a city figure trying to entrap them. So not only are they unreasonable for discriminating against a seriously disabled Veteran but the stuff they are smoking makes them so paranoid they think the customers are with the city and out to get them.
