I’m a wellness advisor in the industry and I had the pleasure of trying Garlic Cocktail (indica) by Binske. Let me TELL YOU it was so tasty. Not too cheesy, but definitely on the earthier side. I consumed flower via beaker bong with distilled water (Augy glass beaker- check out his heady pieces, also use distilled to keep those lungs a bit healthier!). I woke up around 5:30AM nauseous as heck (I have POTS), immediately reached for this stuff because of the terps content (good for nausea) and I’m so glad I did. I took 2 bowls and in total consumed about 1.5g in 5 minutes. I have a high tolerance and Garlic Cocktail definitely can be considered a ‘creeper’ strain- AKA the high will creep/sneak up on you about 10 minutes after consuming. I happened to be reading and was like…I am absolutely fried. It’ll make you a bit tired/relieve eye pressure as well.
I am a Wellness Advisor in the cannabis industry- let me put you on to 8” Bagel by Floracal (a Cresco Labs label). Floracal is the connoisseur tier, followed by Cresco, then High Supply and Good News for flower & concentrates.
I consumed 8” Bagel Live Rosin by Floracal via Puffco on the lowest heat setting (blue). The terps are immaculate. Lowest heat setting really allowed me to taste the terps. 8” Bagel is testing at 73.88% THCa in the live rosin form.
I would recommend this to medical patients and recreational patients with higher tolerance for THC high. The strain hits hybrid with an indica skew, meaning you’ll feel it in your body for sure. I think this could be a great strain for treating nausea, ADHD, and insomnia. While I don’t believe an indica benefits during the daytime for those with focus disorders, I think this may be an exception. My thoughts felt streamlined and I was compelled to write this review.
My review: Disclaimer, I’m a cannabis consultant based in Boston NOT a prescribing medical worker. I help people find their ideal strain based on the personal results they want- both physiologically and mentally. I purchased an eighth of Citrus Splash from Happy Valley in Boston. Here’s an honest review and who I think would benefit from it most (but I pretty much recommend it for anyone…it’s fantastic). First thing- The trichomes are POPPING. Shimmery, glittery, sticky, this bud is aromatic of citrus of course, but what I noticed was the strong presence of spice smell due to the myrcene. Myrcene is a great terpene for individuals with anxiety, stress, and has the general effect of a depressant (IE, it won’t wire you). Cleary this is an indica dominant hybrid, but it’ll fool you as a full indica. Great work to the growers on this one. Now, as for physiological effect: I noticed the high quickly (I tested with j’s, and a distilled bong) which is great for those aiming to curb morning nausea or anxiety in a pinch- not having to twiddle your fingers and wait. I would definitely recommend this strain to people with c-PTSD who need to be grounded from their triggers in a certain moment. For those just looking to chill out, this was fantastic for reading a book, scrolling tiktok, or even taking a walk (I personally see this as a great pre-workout alternative, instead of a stimulant. Reverse psychology, maybe, but I feel more motivated once I begin exercising). I didn’t experience too much hunger stimulation with this one. But I felt great, genuinely. I also noticed an immediate pressure released from my head and sinuses which I didn’t know I had before. This strain would be great for someone with a hangover, migraine, or Gastro-intestinal issues. GREAT strain…I am a typical consumer & recommender of OG strains and this is a fantastic comparison to a true OG, with a hint of citrus. 10/10.
