I am reaching out to formally express my deep concern regarding an incident at Curaleaf Palm Harbor on today’s date. As a regular patient who depends on Curaleaf for my medical needs, I have always trusted your staff to provide professional and compassionate care. However, during my recent visit, I experienced behavior from your team that was both unprofessional and unsettling. While addressing a pricing discrepancy, I encountered multiple staff members who treated me with hostility. When I began to explain my concerns, one staff member initiated a tone that was aggressive and dismissive. Shortly after, two additional employees joined in, creating an environment that felt uncomfortably confrontational and unwelcoming. Their behavior, including cutting me off, rolling their eyes, and using disrespectful language, felt more like a high school bullying scenario than a professional healthcare setting. When I realized this interaction was escalating and my concerns were not being heard, I decided to record the conversation to protect myself and ensure an accurate account of what transpired. At that point, the staff attempted to intimidate me by incorrectly stating that I was violating HIPAA, despite my right to document my own experience. They went so far as to threaten that my prescriptions would no longer be filled, which I found not only inappropriate but also deeply distressing as it seemed aimed solely at silencing my concerns. As a patient, I expect Curaleaf to uphold its commitment to compassionate care and professionalism. This experience has left me questioning that commitment, and I hope that by bringing this to your attention, you will take corrective actions to prevent this from happening again.
