Restore Dispensaries - Elkins Park

3/16/2019
Restore is close to home and has friendly and knowledgeable staff. I really appreciate the 15% over-60 discount and the specials offered from time to time on holidays, etc. On my first visit I saw the pharmacist and she suggested excellent products for my needs. I visited for the 2nd time today as a great special was happening, and there was no wait! The 'other' dispensary a couple miles up the road in Abington has waterfalls, cookies, and fancy bags - and you WILL pay for those in their product prices. I'll pass that up for the better pricing and significant discounts at Restore. Thanks, Restore - you have a customer for the long term.

PAX 3 - Complete Kit - Onyx

I have to agree with the reviewers Pennyaday and Leesie. The concentrate adapter is flawed. I feel like it was an after-thought to make the price of the 3 more palatable and it doesn't match the otherwise high quality of the vaporizer. I used only lentil sized bits of wax in the adapter and the correct settings (both as suggested in the Pax instructions). The first time I used it, I was thrilled with the purchase. The second time it leaked a little. The third time it leaked a lot, and then the plastic lid of the adapter broke off the metal as I pulled it out. The plastic actually flaked off the metal prongs it was attached to. And the leakage? - that is because the little red rubber band seal that secures the lid to the oven MELTS after a couple of sessions. They do not mention this in the booklet, nor do they supply replacement seals. I emailed customer service TWO MONTHS ago when this happened. I was pretty devastated as I paid what I consider a premium price for this device specifically for the concentrate capability. (I have a chronic degenerative disease and wax/shatter works fastest and best for my pain.) They asked for pictures; I sent them. Then they replied that they would send me a new adapter free of charge "when they came back in stock." I waited...and waited...and finally emailed them again this week to remind them. I got a snotty reply the next day stating that they had me on file to receive it but the adapters were "still out of stock" and I'd receive one when they got them in. "I hope that helps." - well, no, it doesn't. I wrote back immediately and told them their answer was not helpful without a timeframe. The reply I got? - "we have no estimated date when they will be back in stock." WTF, Pax!! The Pax3 is being manufactured and sold everywhere so they must have concentrate adapters to put into the complete rigs - but throw up the middle finger on replacements. So much for a 10 year warranty. Meanwhile I just ordered one on ebay - with 5 replacement seals - so obviously they are out there. Shame on you, PAX.
