The Green heart

Only about twenty flowers, but somehow all the major phenotypes are represented by a "best in show" example. It takes a knowledgeable staff to do that - your benefit? You don't need to scratch your head about which of the similar flowers is the winner and your flower will be a lot fresher than that place that stocks 80. The staff has stumbled a little out of the gate, but they are the most knowledgeable group ever assembled in a small shop and all seem genuinely interested in furthering the 420 cause.

Ocean Grown Cannabis Company

A great little shop, but not yet fully stocked - I'm a medical patient who can't smoke, so they hadn't stocked my somewhat esoteric needs - 2/100mg doses a day at a price I can afford. Their flower smelled fantastic and was not flattened or brown. The budtenders were both very knowledgeable and very consumer oriented.

Human Collective

I can't help wonder if PDXdude and I were in the same store. The store has it's problems, they were without too many of my long laundry list of medibles and parking is problematic, but they were perhaps the nicest, most knowledgeable, and most candid (I have a low BS tolerance) group of people I've seen assembled in one place. The strip mall owner will probably soon recognize the economic viability of conforming to federal law, and the guys in the store are promised to have inventory control as job #1, but I would have still deducted a half star if the Leafly review process permitted. I'm a high pain guy with conditions that prohibit smoking and vaping - I still made it home with more THC for less money than my locals, plus enough to pay for gasoline for the 100 mile round trip, and the pleasure of mingling with people who take their jobs supplying medical cannabis seriously. Recreational users were treated with the same respect while I was there, and I can't imagine this crew doing any differently. It looks as if 312 0f 313 reviewers feel the same way. I'm sure glad I gave them a chance despite the lousy review on top.

Green Front REC

Green Front is the Gold Standard among dispensaries, once I've made it to up the porch anyway - sensitivity to the physical needs of the disabled is the one place the store falls short. I had some questions about edibility of concentrates. My local store on the Portland outskirts was not interested in answering them. There's an outlet that specializes in selling low quality weed to low income people at low prices at the freeway exit I took - I tried there - the worst dispensary on the planet. Finally at Green Front The counterpeople at Green Front understand what fat / water solubility is and how it affects the ways their products are used. They know the scientific terms relating to the extraction processes and are able to impart their knowledge while treating the customer with respect, of prime importance to me. I'm impressed - I was there because their prices on medibles are the lowest I've seen.

New Leaf CannaCenter

New Leaf has the same easy access for the handicapped, clean restroom, and fresh product as always, but if you have any questions, it's best to shop elsewhere. I can't smoke (lungs), so I'm a medible man. The new crew wasn't aware which of their concentrates are edible. That's okay in a new industry with new employees, but it's not okay when I'm the only customer, and neither employee is mildly interested in finding out. I'm sure there are counterpeople at competitors who, if they don't know, will make an effort to find out. Or at lest feign interest.

Pineapple Dog Shit

Super stinky, but not unpleasant. Hits you quick (quickly if you're a grammar nazi) and hits you hard. Pain? What pain?
