Method of consumption - Flower, Smoking. ————— Smell — I will divvy this category up into three pieces. Full flower, grounded up flower, and smoke. Full — Very strong. (8.5 out of 10.) I had to keep it hidden in a vacuum container. Floral, woodsy, and earthy. Ground — The sugary floral and citrus sweetness gave my olfactory sense a whiplash. It's overpowering but, in an amazing sense. Smoke — Pungent* but still fruity diabetic-like sweet. *Note: Seal your closet (with your work clothes in there) with a towel blocking the bottom of the door if you are going to work next day. The smell got everywhere in my bedroom and even on my clothes when it is tucked away in the dresser. Febreze or any other anti-odor sprays didn't work. ————— Taste — I wish I could say that it tasted like gelato, haha. It tasted like a cup of sweet lavender cannabis tea with thinly sliced rinds of mandarin oranges and few sugar cubes. ————— Effect — Very uplifting and relaxing at the same time. It's an all-rounder. You can use this to keep yourself busy but you also can use it to help you get tucked in for bedtime. It's ranked .5 below my favorite, Blue Dream; It could compete against my favorite strain of all times. It did amazing for my depression! I suffer from Anhedonia and I haven't been able to enjoy anything for several months. Within 25 minutes after a couple big hits, I tuned into Brooklyn Rumble on Netflix and noticed that I was able to enjoy the good oldie. However, I wouldn't recommend this strain for people who suffer frequent flashbacks of PTSD. It magnified my night terrors in my sleep and put my PTSD flashbacks on a repeat cycle until I got woken up by someone else. ————— Negatives — Dry mouth and dry eyes as usual. It may make high anxiety and/ or heavy PTSD sufferers to feel their doom a bit more (more anxious). ————— Munchies — A solid 6.5 out of 10 on an empty stomach. It's medium-high in the scale but it can be lowered significantly if you smoked before having your meal instead of after. ————— Extra — Not for beginners without supervision. Great for depression and physical pains. ————— My medical conditions are anxiety, Crohn’s disease, depression, insomnia, migraines, PTSD, and spinal injury (disc herniation).

Method of consumption - Flower, Smoking and vape. ————— Smell — I will divvy this category up into three pieces. Full flower, grounded up flower, and smoke. Full — It’s not smelly as most pugnacious strains I have been reviewing upon lately but, it’s still strong. Floral, woodsy, and blueberry. Ground — It’s amazingly sweet. It lingers in the back of your mouth. You almost can taste the berry-like sweetness. Smoke — Fruity, in terms of berries, citrus (lemon zest), and floral. ————— Taste — The taste of this strain is the best I have tasted. I’m a tea lover and smoking this made me feel like I was tasting a good cup of floral hybrid tea with caramelized berries. With a side dish of cannabis. Yum! ♥ ————— Effect — Within 20 minutes, I immediately can see why it’s one of popular strains. I’m now on the hype train for Blue Dream. It also is now my #1 favorite. You’ll be hugged with euphoria first, and then (both cerebral and body) relaxation takes over. It motivates you to get your shit done or provides you the mental clarity to focus upon. It also keep you calm, giddy, and happy / kind. If I’m to describe the feeling of being on it, it’s like it lifts you and have you ride on a cloud while you forget your blues and worries. It isn’t sharp like Sour Diesel or Girl Scout Cookie, but it’s mean effective versus physical *and* psychological pains. It did wonders for my conditions; Mostly anxiety, PTSD, and spinal injury. However it did a number upon giving me some relief for my Crohn’s. ————— Negatives — The negatives didn’t effect me much but, since I need to leave something in this section. Dry mouth. Which will be easily erased with few sips of water. Room temperature or chilled. ————— Munchies — 5 out of 10. However it is very mild if you smoke after having a meal. The score drops to 3 after I had my dinner. It will make you hungry but it won’t nag at you. ————— Extra — I would recommend this to everybody with any experience of cannabis consumption. Newbies are welcome to try this. I’m sure that veterans love this too. This strain also can aid you with sleeping if you smoke enough but it won’t give you the melting into sleep feel. ————— My medical conditions are anxiety, Crohn’s disease, insomnia, migraines, PTSD, and spinal injury (disc herniation).

Method of consumption - Flower, Smoking and vape. ————— Smell — I will divvy this category up into three pieces. Full flower, grounded up flower, and smoke. Full — I could tell it was one of Sour Diesel hybrids. It was very diesel to it before grinding up. Very pungent. Definitely not something to carry on your person without smell proofing it. Ground — The diesel is no longer in the spot light. The lemon citrus tones are very apparent. It’s very lovely because it muffles the diesel with citrus profile and a nutty earth-like base. I questioned myself and decided to reconfirm that it’s fathered by Sour Diesel by looking up. Smoke — Oddly, the precious scent is lost. It’s bizarrely replaced with something sweet. I wasn’t able to pinpoint what. It’s just sweet smelling. (I first registered it as something close as sweet almonds but it wasn’t even it.) ————— Taste — Lemony with a slight hint of nutty vanilla. However the after taste is somewhat unpleasant. Don’t fret, the aftertaste is easily ignored after few sips of water. ————— Effect — This strain needs a cannabis-like mood ring to survey the range of how it would effect you. If you heeded my tip below or others’ reviews before trying this strain and took few hits, you would be rewarded with a cerebral stimulation. You’ll get lifted in a mellow sense. A soft touch of energetic boost or euphoria. You’d feel creative, productive, or a good tunnel of focus. However, it also relaxes you. You’d also feel like you can get through the day. (I can see this strain being pairable with a good cup of coffee.) If you didn’t heeded anybody’s tips or warnings, that’s okay. Just brace yourself for a body melting relaxation with tingly sensation massaging your spine, neck, and mostly your head. (This probably is the slight pressure on the head they were talking about.) Which is amazing after a long day. Free massage included, who can complain about this after buying this strain? Read a book, watch a favorite show, or play video games after many hits is a good combo. Or even cuddling. This is truly a versatile strain. This strain would be amazing for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and maybe bipolar disorder (I can’t confirm this as I don’t have this). This strain does good, but not great, for physical conditions like migraines and spinal injuries. However it didn’t do much for my Crohn’s Disease pains. ————— Negatives — This strain is sharp. I coughed every time I took a draw. Its as if it’s dense instead of smooth. I’ve tried both vape and bong, both yielded same results with coughing. ————— Munchies — I’m unsure if it’s actually low or I’m constantly full from drinking so much of water. I had a bit of Fritos chips with bean dip (about a handful) and two mint Oreo thins. Maybe a four out of 10. ————— Extra — This strain is both potent and rough on your throat. Take few hits and wait because, trust me, you don’t need much for this one to hit in. It’s also slow acting (thus adding to the tip of taking it easy), but progressively quick when you take one too many hits. I don’t recommend this to beginners. I definitely don’t.

Full — Pungent without any question but, I couldn’t tell if it fit into a certain profile. Just yet, only until it’s ground up. Ground — Just wow. It’s as if I ripped a tea bag open. It’s earthy without any question, but I quickly picked up on floral and mint tones. Almost immediately after grinding it all up. Smoke — The flowery floral scent evolved into tree fruit and sweet pine profile. I didn’t expect that. It was a nice treat. ————— Taste — The flavor of bud is almost overpowering but there were sweet pine lingering in the after taste. ————— Effect — This strain was a creeper for me. It hit me when I didn’t expect it. (It isn’t an attack, but it does hit when it do hit in.) And, wow, this strain is phenomenal. It uplifts and relaxes you at the same time. It reduced my pain to a low score of 2.5 ~3 out of 10. I was suffering from migraines and menstrual cramps at the same time and it made it go away. I also had a good night of sleep which is rare. (Even after smoking.) Shorthand; Easily one of my top favorites! ————— Negatives — Dry mouth, dry eyes, and dizziness. Dry mouth is easily solved with plenty of water. Dry eyes aren’t but they weren’t at the point where your eyes are so irritated that you can’t sleep. Dizziness is mild but it is there when I took one too many hits. It rolled in after feeling a good heady euphoria. ————— Munchies — It is considerably high, but on the scale of 7 out of 10. However, if you force yourself to not eat, it will eventually go away. There were few times where I couldn’t ignore it and devoured through (half bag of) Boulder Canyon’s chips. ————— Extra — Highly recommendable! I’d recommend this to strain to my family members as well. ————— My medical conditions are anxiety, Crohn’s disease, insomnia, migraines, PTSD, and spinal injury (disc herniation).

Method of consumption - Flower, Smoking. ————— Smell — I will divvy this category up into three pieces. Full flower, grounded up flower, and smoke. Full — The smell is fabulous. I spent more time sniffing it than smoking it up. It’s very welcoming. Ground — Woodsy tone in floral terms but, it also had hint notes of lemon peel-like citrus. Smoke — The woodland scent profile mellowed but the sweetness became more evident. ————— Taste — Earthy and unquestionably sweet. If you ever had a dark chocolate that’s sweetened with sugar only, it’s like this without the chocolate flavor. (Taza’s organic dark chocolate toffee almond and sea salt bar came to mind when I tasted this.) ————— Effect — I’m actually disappointed. I had higher expectations of a strain that’s fathered by Blue Dream. This is one of strains that didn’t do it for me. The smell invited me into a, well, almost nonexistent party. It doesn’t give me a heady buzz or a complete body relaxation. However, without these, you could tell it’s in your system. It does make you happy. ————— Negatives — Minimal; Dry mouth and dry eyes but they were barely noticeable. ————— Munchies — 3 out of 10. It’s mild, for me personally, and I didn’t feel the need to gorge on anything. However I did have four Oreo thins. ————— Extra — I used this strain to mix with other as flavoring. Also, take this review with a grain of salt. It’s a personal review; I’m positive that any of strains I reviewed would effect you differently. ————— My medical conditions are anxiety, Crohn’s disease, insomnia, migraines, PTSD, and spinal injury (disc herniation).

Sour Diesel

1/25/2016
Method of consumption - Flower; Smoking. ---- Smell - I will divvy this category up in three pieces; Full flower, grounded up flower, and smoke. Full – Sour Diesel lives up to its’ name. It’s smelly, sour, and definitely pungent. It’s not a strain you want to carry and hide with at the same time. Ground – Here, I thought the full bud was stinky. I was awfully wronged. My face immediately lit up as I work at the grinder. I knew what I’m going to have from the smell alone. Smoke – I am not a fan of gasoline/ kerosene in terms of scent, but oddly the combination of herb and diesel is okay in my books now. It’s an acquired “scent”, I suppose. Haha. ---- Taste – This strain isn’t something you want to savor when it comes to taste. It’s bitter beyond belief. However, I occasionally can detect a faint citrus profile. It’s also mildly spicy. ---- Effect – Sour Diesel is, actually, my first sativa strain to try. Ever. I only had hybrids or indicas. I don’t know what to expect of a sativa. The head high was immediately evident after few hits. It was uplifting and intellectually stimulating. Almost a euphoric ecstasy, if you will. I felt the need to stay busy; Alert, creative, and restless. I’m tidy person, but I could do an entire house spring cleaning easily, twice, with this strain. I can imagine this could pair up well with breakfast on the go. (Maybe not with coffee.) Or, when you need a little pick-me-up after a long day, this would work. Did help with my pain, but not as much. I’d like to believe it’s possibly because it’s not noticeable like the head high it was giving me. I’m not even mad because I still feel great after the buzz is gone. Every time. (I need to clarify; I don’t give a strain a solo chance. I had, around, four to five grams of this.) Although, I need to put a warning label for this because… If you overdo it with Sour Diesel, you’ll regret it. This strain can cause anxiety attacks, paranoia, and general uncomfortableness. Fortunately, I didn’t have an attack but I did feel weirded out and a bit paranoid. Lesson learned, but at most it’s easily cured by sleeping it off or allow yourself indulge into munchies. (Not necessarily a negative. Just an inexperienced move I made which could end up as a good tip/ lesson for others.) --- Negatives – [[DRY MOUTH]] -- Steel your throats up because this strain will claw at them like it’s nothing. I had a horrible case of dry mouth but, it was like a straight-from-the-bottle Scottish whiskey burn feel. And, don’t be surprised if you wake up with a feeling of your entire esophagus being caked with something. The dry mouth effect is honestly off the charts. Here’s a tip. I learned that I find it more manageable if I did, somewhat, smaller hits, replace the (drinking or bong, your choice) water with chilled / cold peppermint tea, or put an entire water bong in the freezer. --- Munchies – I’ll give it a 7.5 on the scale of 1 to 10. It’s medium high. Easily ignored if you wait for an hour or more, but at the same time it isn’t if you are hungry. --- Extra – Highly recommended for whoever are sativa lovers (I was referred to this by one), whoever needs to be up and going, whoever needs the creative boost, and such. This strain is also a “social” strain as well as it uplifts you up or fill you with funnies. Thanks to this strain, I now can believe that I’m more of a hybrid gal. I will continue to try more sativas in short (and long) future. Don’t get me wrong, this one is amazing. One of my top choices actually. My medical conditions are anxiety, Crohn's disease, insomnia, migraines, PTSD, and spinal injury (disc herniation).

Blue Goo

1/1/2016
Method of consumption - Flower; Smoking. ---- Smell - I will divvy this category up in three pieces; Full flower, grounded up flower, and smoke. Full - Sweet yet tart. On the herbal side of blueberry's scent profile. Ground - It reminded me of Blueberry strain I had couple months ago. Very fruity in blueberry tones. However, it's sweeter. Almost if you could taste it. Smoke - This is, rather, strange. The sticky sweet scent seems to disappear as you exhale. It became more woody and grassy. Think of pine mulch. It's as if "Houdanki" (Houdini) pulled a disappearing act but bought another act onto the stage. ---- Taste - This is equivalent to a glass of, very, sweet blueberry wheat-grass drink. It had an interesting taste profile. It may be unpleasant or amazing to others, but it is easily ignored. However, and unfortunately, it isn't a smooth strain. ---- Effect - A true yet mellow hybrid; I was kept in the limbo between alertness and drowsiness. I had a complete mental clarity but, I felt tired. (You know that moment where you're exhausted but you can't sleep? Yeah, that.) I couldn't completely relax with this strain. I wish I could. Thus the missing star. It did help some with my spinal injury. Some. --- Negatives - Severe dry mouth and dry eyes. Try a glass of milk, cold tea, or something that isn't water for dry mouth. Otherwise, you'd try to chug water to cure it. Might need eye drops for the dry eyes issue or you could sleep it off (if possible). --- Munchies - High to extremely high. I had a bad case of munchies every time I smoked this strain. There were several nights where I got myself sick from overeating. --- Extra - The target audience would be for either who needs to gain their appetite back or who needs a mellow medium strain. My medical conditions are anxiety, Crohn's disease, insomnia, migraines, PTSD, and spinal injury (disc herniation).

Method of consumption - Flower; Smoking. ---- Smell - I will divvy this category up in three pieces; Full flower, grounded up flower, and smoke. Full - Earthy and pungent. Emphasis on earthy part though. It is very reminiscent of pines, amber resin, and sweet soil. Ground - The floral notes of sweet berry escaped as soon I worked at grinding. It gave me a visual of wild berry bush growing next to mint stalks in a wonderful woody area. Almost as if it hasn't been touched or discovered. Smoke - Almost odorless except for your typical marijuana and sweet berry smell. I must confess that I was a bit congested due to allergies. I can't really confirm the smoke smell except for these. ---- Taste - Definitely sweet. Earthy, minty, and berry as well. A delicious combination. However, it wasn't one of smooth strains. ---- Effect - Once it hits, it was apparent on how potent it was. It was... A perfect balance. Both of my body and mind untangled. I felt knots of stress and worry loosening up and disappearing. The spinal pain was significantly reduced to 1 on the scale of 0 to 10; Almost pain free. My anxiety and PTSD was silenced and introduced to a mellow mind state. I was able to think clearly and come up with creative solutions. I was giggly; Appreciating every smallest jokes available. This was an awesome case of giggles. It doesn't put me to sleep but it does encourage and help me to sleep once I decided to. --- Negatives - Dry mouth, dry mouth, and... DRY MOUTH! No joke. I'd recommend two or three glasses of cold water handy. Or, maybe, a bowl of ice cream / sherbet. --- Munchies - Medium. A bowl of ice cream was enough to satisfy my munchies, but I couldn't ignore it. --- Extra - I am glad that I decided to give this another try. One of my favorites now. I can see what the hype was about. If possible, I would grow this. Highly recommendable. Great for stress and pain. The target audience would be anybody with mental and physical stress, pain (not migraine), anxiety issues (including PTSD), and depression. My medical conditions are anxiety, Crohn's disease, insomnia, migraines, PTSD, and spinal injury (disc herniation).

Blueberry

11/5/2015
Method of consumption - Flower; Smoking. ---- Smell - I will divvy this category up in three pieces; Full flower, grounded up flower, and smoke. Full - It was rather pungent. The earthy profile was overpowering that I can only pick up on blueberry tones subtly. Mostly herbal (like tea or pine), spice, and chestnuts. Ground - The blueberry-like fruity smell immediately filled my nose as soon I worked at it with a grinder. Very true to its name. Sweet and fruity. Smoke - The said earthy profile came back in this stage. It was a wonderful mix of blueberry, sweet earth (like cooked chestnuts), and spice. Amazing. ---- Taste - Smooth and sweet. I don't taste blueberry (or general berry flavor) as much as I hoped, but that is okay because I like earthy herbal tea flavors too. ---- Effect - This strain is very mellow for me. The body and cerebral high is soft. Euphoric as well. I can only think of having your own white noise going in your head and body as an analogy to how it feels. Stress after a hard day peeled off my neck and back but it was done slowly. (Which is nice because my body could get accustomed to being completely relaxed at the end of "melting".) However, this is definitely an indica; It did put me to sleep. I also had a full eight hours of sleep. Perfect for insomniacs. --- Negatives - Dry mouth at the beginning, but after few more inhalations, it isn't noticeable. Dry eyes is evident as soon i woke up from my awesome sleep. (Might be just me.) --- Munchies - Medium to high. I ate a bowl of ice cream and some cookies. I was tempted to eat a bowl of oatmeal with peanut butter, but luckily I was full and knackered out (was getting really drowsy after my first cookie). --- Extra - Highly recommendable to all kinds of smoker; Beginners to experts. Great pre-bedtime medication.

Berry White

10/21/2015
Method of consumption - Flower; Smoking. ---- Smell - Definitely sweet. It reminds me of a blueberry sweet tart at first inhale (non-smoking). However, if you give it another sniff or two. You might be able to detect light earthy tones as if you were standing next to a berry bush. ---- Taste - Blueberry with a hint of vanilla. Not overly sweet; It ranges between semi-sweet to sweet. Smooth. ---- Effect - I've mentioned that I'm type who gets the high delayed in other review. It's not the case with this strain. It calmly and slowly creeps up on you. Which is an amazing mellow type of high. My stress levels were significantly dropping down after few puffs. Tensions in my body, mostly in my back where the pressure has been hitting on my herniated disc, was ironed out little by a little bit. It's uplifting as well for both body and cerebral parts. It gives you the floating tingly type of feeling if you become too aware of your body. It also would lift you away from your current worries as you sit back and enjoy small things. Which was great for my PTSD and anxiety. It doesn't have the heavy couch-lock qualities but it might be enough to transit you to sleep. A gentle push for insomniacs, I'd imagine so. (I was able to get a full eight hours of sleep once I decided to call it a night.) Giggle factor is there. I watched an episode of iZombie last night on HuluPlus and giggled at simple yet good-hearted remarks. --- Negatives - Dry mouth. No doubt about it. However, it was easily solved by a pint of ice cream (half, actually). --- Munchies - Low to medium. It depends, really. I didn't had a hungry attack because I was satisfied with ice cream. --- Extra - I'd recommend this strain to anybody who wants an easy-going high or doesn't want to be heavily medicated.
