I bought a PAX 3 vaporizer from here and it didn’t work correctly. I went to return it and was told they didn’t accept returns. I was never told the sale was final and there was nothing on the receipt or signage in the store or literature that said all sales were final. The owner admitted they needed to make those changes in the future but she couldn’t help me.
She also was so rude and condescending that I just got angrier and angrier talking to her, or rather listening to her talk over me with a long list of excuses as to why they couldn’t take back a product they sold. A machine, not perishables. I say this because she told me they can’t take flower back either! Can you believe that? There is no comparison between a medicine you ingest and a faulty machine. Nothing but a terrible excuse analogy.
I also left a review on Google and the owner responded and lied through her teeth! When all this happened I told her that I was not going to just go away and that I would be following up with the BBB and MMCC. She then said I was threatening her and her staff. I said, “No Megan, that’s not a threat, that’s what people do when a business is in the wrong and refuses to correct the problem. She literally just made things up in her response, things that NEVER happened. It’s all so crazy! I have never seen the owner of a business behave this way in my life!
The whole thing is so bizarre. And the owner is a fool because I spend way more a month than 265$ and I was planning on returning. That’s not ever going to happen. She even mentioned it was my first time at Star Buds in her lie of a response. Yea Megan, it was my first time! That’s when you’re supposed to make a good impression so I’ll return again! She sure made sure I never returned. She’s just a terrible businessperson, nothing but excuses and lies. Save yourself the drama and go somewhere else! There are so many better options than Star Buds.
