The one shining star of this location was the woman who actually rang me up for my purchase, McKenna was GREAT, for her you get a star. She was friendly, welcoming, informative on all sales and discounts. She was a gem!
My experience here was my first and last.
Firstly other dispensary's only make you show your patient card at the front door camera. This one makes you show both ID and patient card, I didn't know that so if you have mobility issues make sure you bring both to get in, everytime. Like I said I didnt know that before getting there and the guy in the camera was extremely rude telling me that I needed both ID's on camera to be let in. The manner in which he said it was just rude and aggressive.
Upon signing in the guy, I am assuming the same guy on the camera mic (taller guy no name tags so I don't know how else to describe him but I am sure I am not the only complaint for him) that had me fill out my paperwork made me feel completely uncomfortable. I have always said the dispensaries have the friendliest and most welcoming employees and he is anything but welcoming. I have never been in a dispensary that made me feel so unwelcome. After checking in I really sat there in the waiting room feeling like a criminal. He asked me questions that I have never been asked upon my first visit at a new dispensary like "What was the first dispensary that you ever went to??" Sir I have memory loss and anxiety, I cant remember where I went a year ago. Then he asked me "Have you ever purchased marijuana in the state of PA" Yes sir, my card is about to expire I have been doing this for a year now. I don't know how else to describe it besides completely uncomfortable. I have never felt so weird at a dispensary before.
Come to find out my friend goes here and has the exact same experience with this guy every time he comes in. He said "Did he make you feel like a criminal? He makes me so uncomfortable everytime!" My friend even left a review once describing the encounter and it got removed. Which I think is unethical because the point of reviews is to share your real experience, not just the good ones.
Upon reading other reviews and knowing my experience along with my friend having the almost exact same experience, I was confused that there wasn't more reviews about this guy at the front, but after my friend saying that his review was removed I guess I get it now. Only leave the good reviews. Unmoral, unethical.
In a facility that is made for medicinally helping patients, with products that is still misconceived by many, us as patients still feel the stigma daily in everyday occurrences with non-patients or people that don't understand the medicinal properties of medical marijuana and we shouldn't have to feel that way in the place that we are supposed to be getting care and help. I hope you leave this review for other patients to read because honestly as someone who uses this place to treat anxiety and depression I have never felt more uncomfortable in any other dispensary and I have zero interest in returning or recommending.
