I came as a transplant from the Castroville location right when the laws changed and Castroville was low on the medicine my wife needed. I called the Seaside location ahead of my visit and set out with the expectation of success. This Seaside location was simply not as "cool" as the flagship store. I was asked for ID before I even entered and then was asked again right inside the door, so already I'm feeling like Big Brother is watching. Both the lobby and the dispensary are pretty Corporate and sterile and lack the personality of the original, too. The products that I was looking for were, in fact, not there, but I had to get some medicine, so I payed more than my budget for less medicine. Overall, when shopping at Higher Level I'll stick closer to home.

I have about half a dozen dispensaries near me and I like to visit lots of places but I always come back to Deanz. First of all their prices are simply the best and they offer discounts. Their service is wonderful and they remember their regular clients and treat us like family. They very often have manufacturer visits and specials and the whole atmosphere is conducive to a compassionate healing experience.

I love this place. It helps that it's my neighborhood dispensary, but they offer a good variety, their staff is knowledgeable and friendly and their prices are competitive. They are always able to suggest a medicine that handles my wife's pain, nausea or anxiety that works. When we asked for a specific medicine that we know works well they did their best to make sure some was on hand. I'm glad they're right around the corner.

After driving by for a couple of months we finally stopped in and were very happy that we did. My wife found everything she needed to handle pain, nausea and anxiety in one place; concentrates and edibles. An excellent selection. Being and old hippy I was delighted to find the kind of strains that were legendary when I was young. I got to teach Emily the Acapulco Gold song AND the song about Panama Red, and got to taste them again before I died. What a treat (and they were as good as I remember)! Staff was great, both knowledgeable and friendly, they have a great selection and a pretty cool atmosphere. Once they get a wheelchair ramp they'll be pretty close to perfect.

This was a happy find in our area. They're not exactly accessible, you do have to climb 4 or 5 steps but once you're inside it's lovely. The place is really nice and clean with a real healing vibe. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. What they carry is very high quality medicine. We look forward to them expanding their inventory especially with more edibles. When we had a problem with one of our items the staff cheerfully exchanged it and helped us provide feedback to the manufacturer. This was a great first experience.

During my first visit Nate made sure that I got the medicine my wife needed at a price I could afford. When I brought my wife back in her wheelchair she was not only accommodated, but treated with respect. Nate spent enough time with us that my wife got exactly what she needed and got to try something new that has become our new go-to brand. Kudos to folks who are doing it right!

Even though they were out of what I needed (due to a manufacturer shortage, not their fault), Ian took the time to find me what I needed nearby. I will definitely be back! Lots of selection and always open.
