I’ve been going to this location for years, back when it was The Holistic Center, and I was nervous with all of the changes (in name, a store remodel, rec going live) which typically have not been beneficial for medical patients. I can safely say however, that Health for Life absolutely prioritizes their patients. They are the home of MPX and Black Label, both of which have stayed consistent in pricing. It’s already the best deal in the valley for live resin concentrates at $40 a gram, but it’s furthermore discounted on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s each week, bringing the cost below $30 a gram (B2G1 on Tuesday’s - picking up 3 $40 grams brings the cost of each gram down to $26.67). And they always seem to make sure there are a ton of new strains in stock each week. I appreciate that they keep prices at the cultivators suggestion for exotic eighths. A lot of places will take an eighth from Grow Sciences or Shango priced at $50 an eighth and add another $5-$10. Aside from pricing and a great selection of the valleys best brands, the location itself is convenient to get to right off the highway. The ambiance is great, the bathroom is clean, the on site ATM has a high limit and only a $1 fee, and the staff is stellar - right down to the security guard outside. For all of these reasons and so many more, I keep coming back and I highly suggest that anyone keep this spot in their rotation.

Stopped in to re-up on some quality flower. I love the fact that JARS is one of the few places that offers flower from cultivators that usually package their products in individual 1/8th containers (like Tru Infusion) in bulk. I can get a full ounce of fantastic flower without the $400+ price tag. Delaney was fantastic, and was great in helping provide lab testing reports on each strain that I was interested in without hesitation. This is in a handful of places that have become my go-to, and I will definitely be back!

This was my first trip to the Local Joint. I had signed up for the text notifications for Grow Sciences on their latest drops and they pointed me in the direction of the Local Joint. I called in the morning to confirm that they had received stock, and Sarah was excellent over the phone, going into great detail on which products they had available. I showed up later in the afternoon, and while parking was minimal, they had two separate lines for recreational and medical customers and patients which I appreciated. After check in, Jack helped me go over what was left in stock - I was surprised to see how much was already gone! Word to the wise, if you are looking for GS concentrates, sign up for their drop list and show up early. Jack hooked me up with the FTP special on some GS cold cure rosin - which was absolutely stellar. I'll definitely be back here again!

The holiday's can be a difficult time of the year for a lot of people, and this year has been pretty difficult for just about everyone. Today was an especially difficult day for me - my father passed Christmas morning five years ago, and his birthday would have been today. I've been thoroughly depressed, and dealing with SI as a result, and I went to visit Emerald today in hopes to raise my spirits. I explained to the budtender how I was feeling, and he not only made some fantastic recommendations to help out, but he threw in some goodies and really made my day. Regardless of this being a transaction, I felt like he really felt for what was going on as a person - and the validation and act of kindness will for ever be appreciated. I highly recommend for anyone to stop by, meet the staff and sample their products. Thank you!
