In addition to the great deals and wide selection of diverse products offered at their dispensary; I gotta give props, respect, and a 5-star rating to Pono Life Education, the knowledge-based caveat to Pono Life Maui's dispensary. This education/informative side is one of the ways in which Pono is able to stand out, above, and ahead of the competition. For example, the staff here seem a bit more knowledgeable and/or forthcoming with information about the company and its products. This increased transparency lends itself to a more comfortable atmosphere. Pono Life regularly hosts scheduled classes and offers diverse learning opportunities. However, it's worth mentioning the often overlooked and informal ways in which PL Ed. complements the dispensary. For example, Terpene study is an interesting subject at the forefront of herbal medicine research; crossing well outside the field of cannabis across a number of scientific disciplines. The last time I was at the dispensary, I saw about a dozen stacks of cards, each one listing and describing one of the terpenes found in cannabis. Upon seeing my interest, the team member at the register enthusiastically encouraged me to help myself to one of each of the cards. Mahalo, Pono, - DT
