Sour Jack | Everyday Machine Trimmed Flower

5/1/2020
our Jack is an extremely useful and effective strain capable of producing intense feelings of euphoria and mental stimulation. This is a potent strain by nature and best served as a daytime strain in medium to light doses. However, heavier medicating produces an almost perfect blend of sativa high softened at the edges by a terpene entourage effect resembling a very calming indica. Again, I would attribute this to higher than normal levels of caryophyllene typical of one of its parents Sour Diesel

Cobra Lips

4/2/2020
Cobra Lips gives off the air of a classic smelling and tasting strain. It’s bud structure is somewhat loose and scraggly. There are red, orange, white, and even yellow stigma in bushy clumps covering each calyx. Growth spires can be seen protruding from each small bud which definitely could resemble fangs. The high is a heady one with notes of spiked intensity that can motivate and inspire. This Strain is good for depression, lethargy, fatigue But I think maybe not the best strain for anxiety, since the head high is rather racing at times. The levels off with some nice muscle relaxing indica effects that are most likely attributable To the .6% myrcene level. NOTE: I would say it’s a perfect strain for getting involved in activities you would normally with a strain like Sour Diesel or Green Crack, but maybe be prepared to do it alone. THE LONG WAY HOME (my toke) The batch I purchased from at Mission in Catonsville was gorgeous. It was only 19% but the terpenes were very present indeed. I would have to say this high and the aroma of diesel and orange was reminiscent of maybe, some very finely grown Florida orange haired “jar weed” (I’m assuming that’s from its Appalachian ((grandparents Green Crack and Tre Dog ))skunk-like parent) with hints of diesel from its Chemdog (and grandparents Sour Diesel and OG Kush ) lineage. At the beginning you get some mental rush and it ends with a very nice relaxing OG Kush- like body high. I found it to be an interesting strain in that it seemed to mimic, not only its obvious genetic relatives, but also some other off-beat (at least in my book) strains such as Royal Moby as well as The Sweeties (review coming soon) mixed with a little Hazmat OG. I would DEFINITELY buy this again but hopefully at a higher potency. However, what psychoactive effects I DID feel this time around at 19% THCa, I will be mindful not to over do it my first time out with this clever mysterious viper...I would take it slow and charm it rather than attack it like a rabid mongoose.

Blue Cookies

2/22/2020
AROMA: leaning towards artificial blueberry easily attributed to its Blueberry genetics. There is an underlying almost grassy- homegrown variation of the sweet GSC aroma palette. Evermore’s Blue Cookies hides its potency behind what is, at times, a rather bland aroma. TASTE: hints of berry, very sweet on exhale with some artificial blueberry scent when exhaled through the nose. At times, there are notes of pine, and an earthiness, verging on a hash-like taste, present as well. GENERAL EFFECTS: strong classic Indica body effects mixed with some mentally uplifting and euphoric, focused and stimulated MIND; +uplifted feelings of euphoria and well being. Effects were reminiscent of Purple Punch. (In my opinion this has a Sativa component that is not fairly reflected in Evermore’s labeling ) BODY; + muscle tension relief and overall physical relaxation – sedative at higher doses. USES: MEDICAL; could be helpful in treating symptoms of anxiety and depression RECREATIONAL: great strain for concentration as well as zoning out if that’s what you choose and depending on the amount ingested. *It felt more like a sativa leaning Hybrid regardless of what the label reads. I found almost every activity more enjoyable with this strain. CONLUSION: Blue Cookies by Evermore is an incredibly attractive looking, sweet tasting, more Indica leaning version of what technically should be considered a Sativa dominant Sativa/Indica Hybrid. That being said, and despite the more traditional Indica physical effects presenting first after exhaling, the mind energizing Sativa effects are more than just present. In many ways, this version of Blue Cookies is a Sativa dominant Hybrid in disguise. Users should note that the effects of Evermore’s Blue Cookies is a bit more cerebrally charged than what one would maybe expect. I would definitely purchase this again even at a lower potency.

Tropical Sunset

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE (consistency): very light green calyx covered in red, orange, and some white stigma (hairs) and encrusted with a generous portion of crystalline white trichomes.Good For Bowls and Rolls: this strain’s texture, consistency, and cured state (especially this particular batch) offer a medium equally suitable for rolling and smoking/ vaping. The small, popcorn-like buds, are fairly dense, yet because they seem to be freshly cured and perfectly dried they are easy to grind and roll. AROMA: intense aroma of berry, leaning towards artificial grape, easily attributed to its Purple Punch mother. TASTE: thick berry, with tinges of pine and lemon with a hint of hash taste at times GENERAL EFFECTS: mentally uplifting and euphoric as well as physically relaxing. MIND- +uplifted feelings of euphoria and well being. (This is a very uplifting feel-good strain ) BODY- + muscle tension relief and physical relaxation –some “cotton” dry mouth due to its Sunset Sherbet Indica dominant parent. USES: treating anxiety, and depression. I was able to enjoyably read, play music, and write in my journal all while medicating with this strain. So, I would say it definitely lends itself toward creative focused endeavors and activities. NOTE: This strain helps alleviate irritability or a “bad mood” in general. I found myself instantly relieved after a day of cascading obstacles with increasing amounts of stress and frustration. It just seemed to melt away. CONCLUSION: This is a very nice sativa hybrid offering a balanced high that both mentally arousing and physically calming. The presence of CBD, CBG, and the levels of the terpenes found in this strain in general definitely intensify its effects. I would most definitely purchase this strain again, and most preferably from Evermore. Read the rest of the review at www.mdcannabisreviews.com

SFV OG X Chem De La Chem

This strain is really something special. Culta has introduced two sativa dominant hybrids to each other and it turned out to be a marriage made in Maryland. The effect came on almost immediately. The indica side of the each strain seemed to express itself first. It provided a tingling sensation and some pleasant light headedness and eye pressure. This was followed by pleasant uplifting almost intermittent giggly sensation and some energetic feelings of inspired motivation. The gram I purchased was not exactly a higher tier rated thc potent strain (it came in at 24.9 THCA and 0.5 THC) when I purchased it from Nature's Medicines in Ellicott City, MD. But the entourage effect of this strain is very obviously integrated with the high. You can also still function and concentrate on activities with this strain all while feeling pleasant waves of its effects. I have a deeper review on the maryland cannabis reviews website www.mdcannabisreviews.com but the following is my general conclusion: Aroma- spicey citrus pine Flavor- spicey with a burnt marshmallow taste upon exhale Effects: MIND: uplifted, energetic, inspired, creative, less anxious, giggly, comes in waves BODY: relaxed, soothing, pleasantly light headed, mild eye pressure, muscle relaxing. has plenty of Myrcene and other terpenes on board, comes in waves Thanks www.mdcannabisreviews.com
