The Kushery at Lake Forest

This little place has grown!!! They expanded their location over the past few years and have a TON of selection. I loved geeking out with the budtender over the current crop of top shelf purple champagne and the shop dog was the sweetest pup - super mellow. The parking lot is mildly confusing but it’s in an area with low traffic, so if you have to re-enter the parking lot because you went in the wrong opening - it’s just a bunch of fellow stoners noticing.

We tried going here after breakfast on the weekend and it was almost comical. There are only 3 spots to park in and a huge truck double parked. Finally got inside after someone left and it was small, crowded, and after 5 min no one had even greeted us so we left. The prices looked similar to elsewhere but the headache of parking and lack of a greeting won’t have us coming back.

Don’t mind the stars, we go here a lot. The prices are simply unbeatable and I appreciate that the attendant who checks ID at the door seems like if an altercation happened, they would swiftly and confidentially take care of the situation (I see a lot of ex military folks at the door). It’s not full of top shelf bud, but when you have a lot of month left at the end of the money - we go here. I wish I could look at the bud I buy before it gets rang up in case one package has better flower than the one I’m going home with. Huge selection of flower, preroll, edibles, and dabbing stuff. Absolutely cannot beat the price. Impossible.

I’ve been here a few times and each time I question why. They are local, on a bus line, and have decent prices/selection. I dunno though, I always feel like I should rush out because the bud tenders seem uninterested that I’m there. It’s also a little sketchy at night, but nothing atrocious. I just aim to get there before dark.

The newly expanded location is the ultimate neighborhood low key in and out shop. Great prices, friendly staff, and I never seem to wait long before someone helps me. The parking lot is a bit terrifying if you aren’t a regular so park on the street, safer than potentially backing up over a pedestrian or into oncoming traffic. I really appreciate the assistance from Noel in particular. She can quickly recommend product for my requested need, knows which brands use which chemicals, and seems to really listen well to my needs. She’s a gem - someone give her a bonus!

This is like the fancy cafe of pot shops. This is where I take family from visiting from out of town, it feels like I should be ordering a venti latte as opposed to picking out a preroll. They have some of the finest top shelf bud in the Seattle area (hello North Coast Growers!) And extensive knowledge. Are they more expensive than other places on aurora? Sure, but I figure that extra 10% I pay goes to ample staff and the ambience of the location. I can go here at 10pm and feel safe, can’t say that for many other places. They run some killer specials too.
